Kain drove into the woods of Havana and drove deeper while ignoring Esmeralda's curious gazes.
"Okay, where are you taking me to?" Esmeralda asked feeling uncomfortable.
"Calm down. Do you really think that I would hurt you or something? Or that I want to hand you to the royal cabinet?" Kain replied in a chuckle.
"Hope not" she muttered under her breath.
Soon enough, the car came to a stop in the middle of nowhere, right in the center of the woods surrounded by trees and bushes.
"Okay, what are we doing here?" Esmeralda said confused as she came out of the car.
"Don't worry. You'll see soon enough" Kain said as he walked out of the car.
"Not encouraging enough" she said with regards to Kain's reply.
"I mean it. Okay, I swear that no harm will come to you on this journey" Kain said placing one hand on his chest and the other in the air. "Convincing enough?" he asked.
