Chris said as they exited the guild,
"What are you going to do, guys? "

"I will be with the priestess "

Priestess said,
"I will visit the goddess's temple "

Iris just walked out without saying anything,
Rock asked Pete,
"What are you going to do "

Pete said,
"I will practice "

Chris waved his hand and said,
"See you at evening then "

Sky said,
"Come back in time, we have a quest "
‣
They all spread around the city doing their own things,
Pete went back to the ground and started swinging his sword,
Sky was watching him secretly,
'Although his swings are impressive, but they are not at the level of a warrior he actually is'

Pete practiced with his sword until dusk,

"We are going to clear a goblin nest "

Everyone except Pete nodded and they all left the city and headed toward the forest,
They were walking toward the nest when Chris said,
"Did you guys hear about the sudden increase of monsters "

Iris nodded and said,
"Yeah, apparently the monsters suddenly started gathering in a massive quantity "
‣
Sky said,
"Yeah they found the clues of two herds, one in Doro village that disappeared after destroying Lotus city and another one was not far from here "
‣
The priestess said,
"Trolls were gathered in hundreds near the Bason village but they have been defeated "
‣
Everyone was shocked and Rock said,
"Did the imperial army defeated the trolls "
‣
Sky said,
"No they got destroyed before the army could do anything "
‣
Pete was confused and said,
"How many monsters are usually in a group"
‣
Sky said,
"Trolls and Orcs don't form a group of more than 20 because of the females "
‣
Iris said,
"Yeah, but now they are forming the group of hundreds "
‣
Sky saw some footprints and raised his hand stopping everyone on their track,
"We found the footprints, they must be close, let's hope they are not in hundreds "

They took out their weapons and began walking cautiously,
Iris climbed a tree and was jumping from tree to tree and looking for the nest,
After couple of minutes, she saw the nest and came down the trees and said,
"The nest is right ahead "

Sky nodded and said to the priestess,
"The buffs "

The priestess nodded and raised her hands forward toward the others and said,
"Enhance defense, enhance attack, haste"
‣
A golden light shined in their bodies as the priestess said those words,
Pete was shocked and was in awe,
'This only happen in a fantasy world '
‣
They then slowly got close to the goblin nest,
The nest was a cave guarded by couple of goblins,
Sky signaled Iris,
She nodded and started shooting arrows at the goblins,
The goblins were alerted as soon as the first one was pierced with arrow, three of them began running toward the entrance of the nest,
Sky said while rushing toward the goblins with Rock,
"Don't let them get inside "

Iris shot down the 3 of them with the arrows,
Sky and Rock finished the other ones,
Sky said,
"We cannot announce our arrival to the entire nest "
‣
Sky turned toward Rock and said,
"Rock, Chris and the priestess will be outside guarding and make sure that no goblin can escape"
‣
Rock said,
"I will also come with you "
‣
Sky said,
"You use a greatsword and that will be only hindrance inside a cave "
"Pete, Iris and I will be going inside "
‣
Rock said,
"She uses a bow, how is that useful in a cave "
‣
Iris took out a dagger and said,
"Did you forgot about this "
‣
Sky said,
"Let's head inside now "

They entered the cave,
Iris chanted as soon as they entered the cave,
"Show us the way in the darkness, light orb "

In the pitch black cave, a ball of light appeared above her, making it visible,
The cave was not wide enough for three person to walk side by side so Pete and sky was in the back and Iris was in the front with her bow,
Pete asked,
"Why is she in the front "

Sky said,
"She can kill goblins from a distance, and we shall be in front of her when there are many goblins "

Pete nodded and kept walking,
Iris was killing goblins as soon as they approached,
Sky said,
"Iris it's time to get back, they know we are here now "

Pete asked,
"How did they know when she is killing every one of them in sight "

Sky said,
"Because of the light, usually there is no light in the cave but there is now, so some of them likely had already reported to their chief "

Pete and sky both walked in front while Iris was walking on the back now,
They didn't saw a single goblin after they switched position,
Sky said,
"Prepare for the big battle and flee if you see more than 100 of them "

Pete asked,
"Why flee"

Sky answered,
"We will let them follow us and kill them at the entrance with the others"

As they have walked just a little further, the path divided into two,
Sky said,
"What should we do now "

Iris said,
"You and I will go from the left and Pete will go from right"
‣
Sky nodded and said,
"That would be good, I am sure he can handle himself "

Pete was panicking but nodded,
'What am I going to do now... I can't fight like these guys "

Sky and Iris went to the left path and Pete was just standing there,
"What should do now "

Morsh said,
"They are just goblins, they are not that strong "

Darkness surrounded Pete as the only source of light was gone,
Pete was now terrified and curled up on ground,
He had closed his eyes and shaking in fear,
Morsh said,

Pete felt a glint of hope as he heard Morsh and thought,

He quickly took out his necklace and opened its lid and sniffed it,
Morsh took over the body,
The goblins suddenly stopped hitting as they sensed the danger,
Morsh stood up and unsheathed his sword and covered it with dark energy and swinged it,
The goblins heads fell on the ground and their souls were absorbed by Morsh,

"What kind of an idiot is he "

He then took out a potion bottle from his storage space and refilled the necklace,
"I need to find stronger potion, this only gives me couple of minutes "

Morsh then entered the right tunnel with his full speed,
He reached the goblins that came from other tunnel and were heading toward Sky and Iris in no time,
"I got you "

Morsh killed all of them with lightning speed and continued to go deeper into the cave,
Iris and Sky were standing in an open area surrounded by hundreds of goblins,
Sky said,
"Why does this nest have these many goblins "
‣
Iris said,
"I don't know, but this is surely unusual "
‣
Iris was holding her dagger while Sky was holding his sword covered in aura,
Sky said,
"Why are they not attacking us "
‣
Iris said,
"I think they are waiting for their chief "
‣
A hobgoblin entered the area at that moment with more goblins as his guards,
Sky said,
"This is goodbye from me.... I hope the others run away "
‣
Iris nodded and said,
"I will distract them, you run as fast as possible "
‣
The hobgoblin said in a broken way,
"Humans trash "
‣
Sky said to Iris,
"He is an intelligent monster, I don't think he will let one of us escape "
‣
The hobgoblins said,
"Run... no... can "
‣
Iris said,
"He has evolved not long ago, he can't talk properly "
‣
The hobgoblin raised his hand and the goblins started closing in to Sky and Iris,
Sky said,
"They will kill and eat me, but they are going to do worse things to you "

Iris smiled and said,
"I know... that's why I don't plan to get captured alive "

The goblins suddenly stopped and started looking left and right while trembling in fear,
Sky and Iris also started trembling in fear,
Even the hobgoblin was looking scared,

"Who's killing intent is this, it's making me scared"

Iris said,
"I think a strong monster has arrived "

A voice came from the tunnel they came from,

The hobgoblin's head fell on the ground followed by his body,
Morsh then started killing the goblins,
His speed was so fast that Sky and Iris couldn't even see him,
They were looking around trying to see Morsh while the heads of the goblins were falling on the ground,

Morsh finished the goblins in no time and said,
"Why are you standing like that, doing nothing "
‣
They came back to his senses and Sky said,
"You killed the hobgoblin in one move "
‣
Morsh made eye contact with Sky and said calmly,
"And... "

Sky was first making eye contact but with every second it was getting harder and harder for him to maintain it, and he finally broke the eye contact and looked toward Iris,
Morsh also turned to Iris,
Iris was staring Morsh and when Morsh turned over their eyes met,
Iris quickly moved her eyes from Morsh and started panting and sweating,
'Just how strong is he, it was like I am standing in front of death itself from just a mere eye contact '

"That hobgoblin was just an underling, the chief is even stronger "
