After about an hour, the receptionist came up to him and said,

He then handed Pete his new badge and said,
"This is your new badge "

Pete grabbed the badge with a big smile on his face,
The badge was made out of bronze with Pete's information on it,
Morsh saw the badge and said,
"Pete ask the receptionist, why does it look easy to replicate "

Pete nodded and asked the receptionist,
"Why does this badge looks easy to replicate "
‣
The receptionist smiled and said,
"The badge is replicable but the magic circle inside it is not, and if anyone tries to inspect the circle, the circle self destructs"

Pete said,
"That is a cool feature "
‣
The receptionist was confused and said,
"What do you mean by cool feature "

Morsh said,
"Don't use slangs from modern world "

Pete laughed slyly and said,
"It's nothing "
‣
The receptionist said,
"If you require further assistance, you can find me on my desk"

He then walked back to his desk and Pete also followed him,
The receptionist said,
"Is there something else you need "

Pete said,
"I want a quest, but I can't read so you have to tell me "

The receptionist checked a register on his desk and said,
"There are two quests available for your rank now, first is to get the horn and skin of horned rabbit, and second is to get the core of the slime "

Pete said without thinking much,
"The rabbits are cute so I want the slime one "

The receptionist said,
"Bring back the core or the horn and you will be rewarded "

Pete got confused and asked the receptionist,
"How do I get the core"

The receptionist looked at Pete with confusion and thought,
'He is a first rate warrior but don't know the simple thing '

He then put up a smile and said,
"The slimes will drop their cores at the place they die "

Pete said,

Pete then ran out of the guild,
Morsh said,
"How are you going to kill a slime without a weapon "

Pete said while running,

Pete reached the forest and was wandering around searching for a slime,
After searching for some time Pete gave up and sat on the ground,
"I didn't even find one slime "

A rustling sound came from the bush in front of Pete,
Pete got scared and looked nervously toward the bush,
Something jumped out of the bush,
Pete screamed out of fear,
"Ahhhh... "

Morsh said,
"Don't scream like a baby, it's just a rabbit with a horn"
‣
The rabbit ran away as Pete screamed,
Pete took a deep breath and said,
"I was just acting, I wasn't scared "
‣
Morsh said,
"Hunt that rabbit, it was also a quest "
‣
Pete nodded and ran toward the direction of the rabbit,
After running for some time, he didn't find the rabbit but was lost now,
"Where am I... "

Pete looked around him and noticed the denser forest and dim light,
The area was unusually quite, not even the sound of insects could be heard,

"Pete get out of this area as soon as possible "

Pete didn't listen to Morsh and kept walking,
Morsh didn't say anything else to Pete,

As Pete was walking, the forest was getting denser and denser,
Morsh was also looking around but couldn't find any monster,
'Just where is this monster... Is it underground or.... '

Morsh looked up and said,
"Pete get out of this area, this is you final chance "

Pete angrily voice,
"I am a hero, don't tell me what to do "

Morsh said,
"Then look up"

Pete said while looking up,

Pete fell backwards on the ground as his eyes were looking up with a terrified expression on his face,
Above him, the whole forest was covered with spider webs and thousands of spiders as large as human and with a red gem on their heads were looking down on Pete,
Morsh said,
"Run Pete run "

Pete was terrified by the scene as couldn't even move his body,
He couldn't even speak due to fear,
Morsh said,
"Do something, don't just sit there "

Pete was frozen on the ground,
The spiders shot their web on Pete and a cocoon was formed around him with only his head poking out,
The spiders then pulled him up and one of the spider placed him with their other cocoons of different monsters,

Morsh shouted,
"Pete come to your senses "
‣
Pete started crying with fear,
Morsh sighed and said inwardly,
'Don't die until I took over the body '
‣
Four spider came up to crying Pete and took out Pete from the cocoon,
Pete stopped crying as he got out of the cocoon,
The four spiders then tore off Pete's limbs simultaneously and then puts Pete in cocoon again,

Morsh shouted with anger with dark energy in his voice,
"How dare you tear off my arms and legs "
‣
Every monster in 3 mile range felt the instinctual fear,
Low level monsters outside the spider area started running away from the area,
Even the spiders were trembling out of fear,
Pete came back to his senses as he saw his hands and legs in the mouths of the spiders,
He felt the massive amount of pain from his hands and legs being ripped apart,
"Arghhhhhhhh..... "

Pete shouted in pain and anger,
His shout was so loud that the trembling spiders focus shifted to him,
Golden aura burst out of Pete and evaporated a section of the spider nets and he fell on ground,
Blood was gushing out of him and his vision was getting blurry,
"I a.. am... so.. sor.. sorry Mo.. r..sh "

Pete lost consciousness,
Morsh took over the body and the pain came to him,
Morsh didn't screamed but was trembling out of pain,
He used dark healing smoke with its maximum output,
The dark healing smoke became dark healing water and stopped bleeding,
Morsh took back the healing water and said,
"My limbs can still be connected back if I get them in time "

Morsh only stopped bleeding but didn't let the skin grow on top of the wound,
"Dark soldiers "

All of the Dark knight, lieutenant, soldiers, orcs, trolls, goblins were summoned,
The whole spider area was covered by the dark soldiers,
Morsh ordered them,
"Destroy the trees and smash those bugs "
‣
Morsh then manifested dark energy swords for the soldiers,
The dark soldiers started cutting the trees,
The spiders were falling on the ground as the trees were cut down,
Only their corpses reached their ground as they were killed in midair,
The dark magicians burned down the area,
Only dark soldiers were standing safely in the midst of dark flames,

The spider queen shouted as she saw the destruction,
"Please stop the destruction "

The spider queen's body is of a spider with a humanoid upper half,
Morsh ordered the dark soldiers,
"Leave that talking monsters alive, but kill every other one "
‣
All of the trees except the tree of the queen was burned to crisp,
Every spider except the queen were killed,
Morsh dismissed the summon of dark soldiers, lieutenant, and monsters, leaving only dark knights behind
"They are hard to maintain as the dark energy is not that strong now"
‣
He absorbed the spider souls in the weapons,
"Dark knights, bring that talking monster here "
‣
The dark knights quickly surrounded the queen,
The spider queen said,
"Please don't kill me.... I will do as you say "
‣
The dark knights took her back to Morsh,
She was confused as she saw Morsh without limbs and said to the dark knights,
"Is your lord really a human "
‣
She was thinking the dark soldiers were some new kind of monsters, so she was surprised to see Morsh,
Morsh said,
"Where are my limbs "
‣
The spider queen quickly bowed down and said,
"I don't know where the lord's limbs "
‣
Morsh said angrily,
"Your spiders tore them, so tell me where are they "
‣
The spider started trembling with fear she heard Morsh,
"Those were your limbs.... No wonder I became this powerful by eating... "

Morsh said,
"So you ate them... then I will have to tear your stomach to get them "
‣
The spider queen said,
" They were already digested so please don't tear my stomach, I will die"

Morsh took deep breath and calmed down,
"Kill her dark knights "

All of the dark knights attacked together and the queen died in a blink of eye,
Morsh called back the dark knights, absorbed the queen's soul and said,
"What should I do now "

He looked up to the evening sky,
The sky was red due to the sunset,
Morsh just stared at the sky without thinking of anything,
He smiled as he remembers his journey up until now,
"This is the world full of magic... so there must be something or someone that can give me artificial limbs or regrow them "

Morsh closed his eyes to sleep but couldn't sleep due to the curse,
"The curse surely is annoying sometime "
‣
Morsh just closed his eyes while laying on the ground limbless,
He suddenly started smiling as he remembered the skill he got yesterday,
"I have the regeneration skill... but why didn't it work right away "

Morsh said,
"Dark regeneration "
‣
Hands and legs made up of dark energy started growing from where the limbs were torn off,
As they completely grow up, the dark energy came back to Morsh's soul leaving the new limbs behind,
Morsh was surprised to see this and moved his hand and fingers,
"These are exactly like the limbs I had before, not even a tiny change "

Morsh stood up and walked few steps,
"Let's get changed now "
‣
His shirt is sleeveless, and pants were like shorts,
Morsh took out new set of cloths from his storage space wears them,
"Now let's see if I can find slimes or the rabbit here "
‣
Morsh got out of the burned area of spiders and walked back where Pete first saw the rabbit,
"The receptionist said to bring back the slime core... what is it actually... I don't think monsters drops cores"
‣
Morsh thought about this and said after a while,
"Does the dark energy absorbs the cores as I kill the monsters..."

Morsh reached the place where Pete had seen the rabbit and summoned the 20 dark spiders,
"Find and bring me the horned rabbits '
‣
The spider spread around the area,
Morsh sat down counting the dark soldiers while waiting for the dark spiders to come back,
"I have 20 dark knights, 180 dark lieutenants, 423 orcs, 1 hobgoblin and spider queen, 450 trolls and 1 troll chief, 600 goblins and 1280 spiders "

After couple of minutes the spiders came back with rabbits wrapped in dark net,
'20 spiders came back with 12 horned rabbits, '
‣
Morsh took out a dagger from his storage space and covered it with dark energy,
He then killed the rabbits and absorbed their souls,
"I have 12 dark rabbits now "
‣
Morsh removed the rabbit skins and horns and threw the intestine of rabbits,
He then took out a court from his storage space and wrapped the skins, horns and meat into it,
"All this can be sold "
After packing everything, he headed toward the city.
