The adventurer got angry and said,
"We adventurers are not lawless like you mercenaries "

The mercenary laughed and said,
"Haha.... he killed adventurers and you still want him to surrender "

"Yes according to law, he will be punished by the lord if he surrenders "

Both the adventurer's side and the mercenary side were glaring each other, and some were even showing killing intent,
The old man manifested dark energy swords surrounding him,

A couple of adventurers and mercenaries ran away but there was still quite a number of warriors surrounding the old man,

The dark poison smoke surrounded the adventurers and the mercenaries blocking their way of exit,
They looked behind and saw the dark smoke blocking their exit and one of them touched it,
He started bleeding from his seven orifices and dropped dead,
Someone shouted,
"Our exit is blocked and our only way to get out of here alive is to kill the guy in front "

Morsh was standing in a rooftop watching everything while smiling,

The old man released the manifested swords and all the low level warriors were instantly killed as the swords pierced them,
Only second-rate warriors were standing but fear was overwhelming them,
One of the warriors said,
"Don't give up on your life... if death is what awaiting us, die like a warrior "

The warriors clamed themselves down and took a deep breath,
As they exhaled the breath, they started running toward the old man covering their weapons in aura,

The old man's soul started killing the warriors,
The warriors were attacking from all sides and the old man's cloths started to tear bit by bit by the attacks,

One of the warriors said,
"He must be tired after fighting for so long... keep it up, he will exhaust sooner or later "
‣
The old man's soul killed almost all of the warriors and the remaining ones lost their will to fight and dropped their weapons,
‣
The old man's cloths were torn quite a bit and his body created with dark energy could be seen thorough the torn parts,
One of the remaining warriors said,
"Just what kind of monster are you "

The dark poison smoke covered the remaining warriors and they died,
Morsh walked through the dark poison and said to the old man,
"You did a good job... now go back "

Morsh dismissed the old man's summon and took back all the dark smoke and the dark energy from the sword,
Morsh got more then 300 souls and most of them were of warriors,
"My soul strengthened quite a bit... but I didn't get any new skills "
"I guess now killing only first-rate warriors can give me skills "

Morsh took out his pocket watch,
"The sun will rise in couple of minutes... I don't have enough time to loot "

Morsh sighed and headed back to the room in the inn,
Morsh changed cloths and sat on the luxurious bed,
Morsh opened his storage space and said,
"I have more then 15,000 gold coins... I am kind of rich now "

Morsh thought for a moment and said,
"The city is going to be in an uproar today "
"I also need to strengthen my dark energy... It was weaker against a first-rate warrior "

Morsh then puts 5 gold coins in his pocket,
"These can last for couple of days if Pete don't spend these like an idiot "

Morsh then simply lied down on the bed,
After some time Pete took over the body and said as soon as he took over,
"What is this place... where am I "

Morsh said,
"You are in an inn"

Pete was confused and said,
"But we should have been in the forest with the lieutenant "
‣
Morsh said,
"Lieutenant and his army were attacked by the orcs last night and were killed "
‣
Pete was surprised hearing this and said,
"Does that mean the lieutenant was killed too"

Morsh said,
"Yes, all the soldiers and the lieutenant died "
"They didn't run away even when they saw more than three hundred orcs were attacking them"

Pete tears started dropping on the bed and he started crying loudly,
Morsh said,
"Why are you crying like a baby "

Pete said while crying,
"We were going to spar in the morning "

Morsh said,

Pete became angry when he heard this and said,
"I had sparred with him and I know how strong he really was "

After half an hour he finally reached the adventurer's guild,
He stood straight in front of the guild and said,

There were a lot of people just standing and some were even crying and the whole atmosphere feels gloomy,

Pete walked up to the front desk and said,
"Hello... I am new in this town and came here for quest"

The attendant checked his Id card and said,
"You are an iron rank so we only have herb gathering and letter delivering quests available "

Pete said,
"I want the herb gathering quests "

Everyone in the adventurer guild looked at Pete when they heard this and the guy Pete asked said,

"Did something happened last night "

The adventurer said,
"Go away and ask someone else "

Pete then walked out of the guild with confusion and said,
"I was just trying to be friendly "

Pete then walked up to a guard and asked him the direction of the forest,
The guard pointed him toward the gate of the city and Pete headed toward the gate of the city,
After couple of minutes of walking he reached the gate of the city,
"If I gather a lot of plant, will I be able to increase my rank "

Pete then walked up to the gate and noticed that the security here was tight,

Pete carefully took out the plant and puts the plant in his pocket,

Morsh was shocked when he saw this and said inwardly,
'Just what kind of idiot would pick a poisonous plant without any sort of protection '

Pete started searching again,
After some time Pete was searching Pete was sweating and cleared his sweat with his hand,

He started feeling dizzy as soon as he wiped the sweat with his hands "

Pete said,
"What's happening... I am feeling so dizzy "

Morsh thought,
'He plucked a poisonous plant with his hands and wiped his sweat with the same hand without washing them'
'What do you expect to happen "

After couple of seconds Pete lost his consciousness,
Morsh took over the body as soon as Pete lost consciousness,
"He is a complete idiot "

Morsh looked around and summoned his first rate and second rate dark soldiers,
Morsh then took out the plant from the pocket and showed it to the summons and said,
"Go collect this plant "

The dark soldiers then spread around and started collecting the plants,
They were high ranking warriors so their speed was quite fast,

Morsh looked at the plant in his hands and said,
"I wonder what skill I will receive after absorbing this "

Morsh then released some dark energy sent it to the plant and the plant was engulfed in the dark energy,
After few seconds the dark energy returned to Morsh and the plant simply turned into dust,
"Just what kind of plant is this... I got some scary skills "
