The hobgoblin then leaped toward one of the dark knight with his large wooden club,
As the hobgoblin got close to dark knight, he swung his wooden club,
The dark knight disappeared and appeared behind the hobgoblin,

The hobgoblin looked left and right as he saw the dark knight vanishing in front of his eyes,
The dark knight swung his sword from behind of the hobgoblin,
The hobgoblin's hand fell down on ground,
*Roar*
The hobgoblin roared in pain,
The dark energy had already entered his body as his hand was cut by the sword covered in dark energy,
The hobgoblin then turned around but didn't saw anyone behind him,
The dark knight had already appeared behind him and swung his sword again,
The hobgoblin's second hand fell on the ground and he roared in pain again,

The dark knight then jumped and swung his sword again,
The hobgoblin's head fell on the ground and his soul was also absorbed by the dark energy on the sword,
The other dark knights have already killed the goblins,
The dark knights then returned to Morsh,
Morsh was sitting on a rock near the cave when he saw the dark knights returning,

The dark knights stood in a line in front of Morsh,
Morsh looked at the dark knights and took back all the dark energy from the swords absorbing the souls of the goblins,
After he absorbed souls of the goblins he said,
"Monsters and Childrens souls strengthen my soul a lot "

Morsh then dismissed the dark soldiers and the swords they were holding fell on the ground,
Morsh looked at the swords and said,
"These are good quality swords and they become deadly when they are covered in dark energy "
‣
Morsh took a deep breath then smiled and said,
"What would happen if someone mysteriously found these covered in dark energy "
‣
Morsh then puts back the swords in the storage space and said,
"Hmm... they will be categorized as demonic if they found these laying around in the forest"
"But It would be different story if they found these in some temple or some sacred place "
‣
Morsh sinisterly smiled and headed back to the path,
After he reached the path, he then started walking toward the Rose city,
As it was night time so Morsh summoned four dark knights,
"4 should be enough if some strong monster attacks "

Two dark knights were walking in front and two in back of Morsh,
After couple of hours of walking, Morsh took out his pocket watch and said,
"It's 3:35 in the morning... I should reach the city by afternoon "

Morsh then dismissed the dark soldiers and started walking alone,
After walking for around an hour the darkness started to lighten up a little,
Morsh checked time again and said,
"It's 4:15 now and the sun will rise in about 2 hours "

Morsh increased his pace toward the city,
The sun rose and the rays fell on Morsh's face, the cold wind started to warm as the sun was rising,
Morsh took a deep breath and said,
"This world surely is pretty... but alas it's goddess is a dumb bitch "

Morsh slowed down his pace and was walking while enjoying the scenery,
After an hour Pete took over the body,
"Huh.... where am I... I was in the city but why am I in the forest now "

Morsh said,
"I have good news and bad news... what do you want to hear first "

Pete was already confused as he looked around and saw unfamiliar scenery and said,
"What if I don't want to hear the bad news "

Morsh said,
"The bad news is that the city was attacked by orcs "
‣
Pete said,
"I told you I don't want to hear the bad news "

Morsh said,
"But I have to tell you what happened after you lost consciousness when you wiped your face after picking up henbane "

Pete sighed and said,
"Ok fine but tell me everything from the start "
‣
Morsh said,
"After you lost consciousness, I took over the body and collected more than 50 Henbane plants "
‣
Pete interjected and said with shock and disbelief,
"How did you collect more than 50 "
‣
Morsh sighed and said,
"I just found them growing near the first one you found "
‣
Pete puffed his chest and said with a big smile on his face,
"I was just testing you to see if you can collect the herb or not and you passed the test "

Morsh was dumbfounded when he heard this and thought,
'Was I hallucinating or did he just say that '

Morsh said after he processed what Pete had just said,
"So the great hero was testing me... I was dumb that I couldn't figure out myself "

Pete still had the big smile on his face and said,
"Don't let your morale down "

Morsh sighed as he was looking at Pete,
'Just how can someone be this dumb '

Morsh said,
"Yes I am the comrade of the hero, how can I let my morale down just by this "

Pete then said,
"So what happened next "

Morsh smiled and said,
"I am sure the great hero already knows what happened next, so why don't we keep walking "

Pete cleared his throat and said,
"Telling me also the part of your test, I am testing how good is your memory "

Morsh was dumbfounded again and thought,

Pete's expression changed and shocked expression could be seen on his face,

Pete face turned red as he heard this and said,
"So that was the case... I thought you did something bad to that guy "

Morsh said,

Pete puffed his chest again and said,

"She was killed during the orcs attack "

Pete angrily said,

After couple of minutes Pete finally calmed down and said,
"How can you not love a girl when she loves you "

Morsh said inwardly,
'He didn't say anything when he was crying but saying stupid things as soon as he stopped crying '

Morsh said,
"Have you been in a relationship before "
‣
Pete said while blushing,
"Yes ofcourse I had a girlfriend, do you have a girlfriend "
‣
Morsh said,
"The place I lived doesn't have any girls that can be loved "
‣
Pete said,
"So you were in all boys school "
‣
Morsh said inwardly,
'I was in streets beaten, hungry and alone but when it was my time to rule that place, I was summoned here '

Morsh sighed and said,
"You can say that... I was in a similar place like that one time "

Pete curiously asked,
"What do you mean by similar place "

Morsh said inwardly,
'This bastard is asking too many questions... I was in juvenile prison before but if I tell him that he will freak out'

Pete said with a disappointed face,

Morsh didn't say anything else and simply watched what Pete's been doing,
Pete was walking toward the Rose city with a slow pace,
It almost looked like he was walking halfheartedly,

After walking for couple of hours Pete saw a kart was coming toward him from the direction he was coming from,
Pete waved his hand so that the Kart's driver could see him,

The kart driver was a skinny middle aged man and an old man with a butler outfit was sitting next to the kart driver,
The kart driver saw Pete from a distance and said to the butler,
"Someone up ahead waving his hands... should I stop "

The butler said,
"There is no need to stop, this might be the setup of bandits to stop us "

The driver nodded and sped up the kart,
Pete saw the speed of the kart suddenly increased and said,
"Why are they increasing their speed instead to stopping "

As the kart sped up, a girl said from the inside of the Kart,
"Why did you suddenly increase the speed "

The butler said,
"There is a guy waving at the kart and I think this is a setup of bandits "
‣
The girl said,
"What if he actually needs our help "
‣
The butler said,
"If that's the case then someone would stop and help him "
‣
The girl said,
"Who would stop if even we are not stopping "

The girl then said angrily,
"Stop and see what's the guy want "

The driver slowed down the carriage and stopped it in front of Pete and the butler said,
"Who are you and what are you doing in the middle of the forest "

Pete looked up to the butler and said,
"Hello my name is Pete and I am... "

Pete didn't know where he was going to so he was thinking what to say,
Morsh was looking everything so he sighed and said,
"Tell him you are going to Rose city "

Pete then said,
"And I am going to Rose city "

The butler looked at Pete suspiciously and said,
"Why did you took this long to answer where were you going "

Pete started panicking and couldn't answer,
Morsh said,
"Tell him that you forgot the name of the city "

Pete calmed down and said,
"I just forgot the name of the city "

The butler looked Pete up and down and thought,
'He build is of a warrior, but he doesn't feel that much of strong to me "

The girl from inside the carriage said,
"Let him join us "

The butler sighed and said,
"You can sit here with us "

Pete then climbed up and sat with the driver and the butler,
The butler asked Pete,
"What do you do for living "

Pete said,
"I am an adventurer "

The butler suspiciously asked,
"So where is your badge "

Pete checked his pockets but didn't find the badge,
Morsh sighed,
'I didn't take out the badge when I changed the cloths'

Pete then said,
"I think I lost it somewhere "
‣
The butler asked,
"What is your rank "
‣
Pete said,
"I just signed in as an adventurer couple of days ago so I am still Iron rank "
‣
The butler looked at Pete with a piercing gaze,
At that moment the kart driver said,
"There is an army coming toward us "
