"Your Majesty, we must leave immediately!"
Borneo appears just as Algis is about to give orders to Cyril.
People had started to form around Cyril and it was hard for Algis to get back close to the young man. Finally, with a heavy heart, Algis follows Borneo to Adriana's train.
"What happened?" asked the woman Algis loves as soon as she got into the carriage.
"I don't understand!"
Adriana's brow furrowed at this. The woman watched Algis intently as if penetrating to the depths of the heart of the man before her.
"I heard that the Vander Fortress is about to be attacked by a black beast with strange behavior."
"Yes, Adelman mentioned the devil. Although he has not clearly explained his suspicions. However, anyone who is listening must have guessed that the attack this time was orchestrated by the devil."
Adriana covered her mouth in shock. "Isn't it that demons can't control egoless beings?"
"I don't understand. Adelman insisted on staying here even though the enemy felt very strange and attacked like a trap. Cyril suggested vacating the fort."
The explanation given by Algis became disorganized, but Adriana seemed to understand it quite well. "I pretty much understand why Adelman would want that!"
"The problem is Cyril said that he will stay too!" Algis exclaimed panicked.
"Don't you believe in Cyril? He will be able to resolve this matter, Your Highness!" Adriana tries to calm Algis down.
Algis looked at Adriana. "Sometimes I don't understand some of the decisions that other people take when pressed!"

If Cyril can make good use of the opportunity, he can escape from the palace knights. The idea suddenly popped up when I saw Adelman exclaiming about his warp.
If he managed to disappear from here, Cyril would only be considered dead. He will not become a fugitive for running away from duty.
Cyril's warp had been completed. The crowd suddenly opened their eyes when the horse-drawn carriage containing Adriana and Algis arrived. The train stops right near Cyril. The horse carriage door opened and Algis and Adriana appeared to be sitting facing each other inside.
"Cyril!" Algis called out to him.
Cyril jogged over to him. He was curious about his expression. Did he seem pleased for someone who was about to engage in a fight that might take their life.
"Yes, Your Majesty!" Cyril crouched down by the carriage steps.
"I wanted to say that you come back to the capital with me this time. However, I know that you want to take Adelman along from here as well. Therefore, I want you to promise that you will meet me alive in the future!"
"Yes, Your Majesty!" replied Cyril.
Cyril straightened back up as the carriage door closed and slowly slipped into the warp.
Then the soldiers came with Cyril from the capital. They all looked at Cyril with pity, as if Algis had ordered Cyril to stay in the Varden Fortress.
Fearish and the other four remained in the Citadel, lining up everyone who was about to enter the warp for their safety.
"I hope not to see you again."
Maybe Fearish didn't say it on purpose. Didn't expect Cyril to hear it. However, Cyril's senses were too sensitive right now after using magic.
"Well, goodbye then!"
Fearish gasped in shock, knowing that Cyril had heard his. His face was red with embarrassment, but he didn't apologize because he didn't feel guilty.
"Return for His Highness!" Fearish said before jumping into the warp circle.
Luckily, Cyril didn't answer if it was Algis who he avoided like this. Fearish's troops were the last to enter the warp. After that, the warp closes fast, faster than creating it.
"THEY ARE COMING!"
From the watchtower at the front gate came a cry of warning.
"FROM HERE TOO!" shouted the other gate which was located at the back of the fort.
Cyril drew his sword and advanced to the formation guarding the front gate. His heart was beating fast because this was the first time he had fought with a large number of opponents even though they weren't human.
His head was filled with questions, what if he died here once more as Cyril? Will he return to his previous world? Where he has living parents?
If that were the case, Cyril would stop working and live with his parents.
"You can go with Crown Prince Cyril! I hope you make that choice!" said Adelman who was suddenly beside him. Adelman's blade glinted strangely, thrust forward like Cyril's.
"I'm scared. I barely remember the wars I fought while being a mercenary. Even though I remember some of the things that were done, waking up again after nearly dying made all the difference." Cyril looked ahead, his body shaking, he gripped his sword tightly to shake off his fear. "I can't just leave you here. I like you."
Cyril was pleased to have said what should have been saying. The closed gate was now banged on very hard. Behind also heard the same sound.
"HOLDER THE GATE WITH ALL YOUR POWER!" Adelman shouted in command.
Amidst the panic, Adelman's voice was strangely loud. It must be because of magic.
From above swooped down a flying black beast, looking like a bat but with a larger, more terrifying body. They spit out something like liquid that burns the skin.
Several soldiers in brown uniforms that were stained with the liquid rolled over and screamed in pain as if they were being burned alive.
Cyril slashed at one of them passing a meter above his head. The creature did not die, but received a wound on its wing and fell to the ground.
The knight who was nearby quickly rained his sword down on the black beast. A squeaky sound escaped from his mouth, ringing in the ears. That seems to be another ability of the creature in self-defense. However, it wasn't long before the creature finally stopped moving again after another rain of sword thrusts.
"HIS HEAD TO ENSURE THE DEATH OF THE CREATURE!" Adelman shouted to the knights who managed to kill one black bat-shaped creature. "FOR THOSE WHO HAVE THE ABILITY TO JUMP, CLIMB UP ON THE FORT FENCE AND DROP THAT CREATURE BY HURTING ITS WINGS!" Adelman gave the order.
Cyril somehow got the sense that the order was meant for him. He and a few others rushed up the stairs leading up to the fortress observation post, to take down the flying creatures that were trying to disrupt the formation through the air.
Upon arriving at the top and looking outside the fort, Cyril's eyes widened at the various types of black beasts he had never seen so many.
He wasn't sure if he could escape after this attack.
"What if I die?" he muttered a little regretfully.
