Ottawa Illinois, a city that had experienced little growth during its life pre-nukes was now going to be the last sanctuary of the American Dream, Hopes, and Life. ODTA's Washington Park Super Bunker would house members of reach region, preserve the last of humanity in America.
The pilots would have a choice, live in the bunker with everyone else, or try to strike D.C, fight off the Remnant Government in the hope of buying ODTA time to seal the bunker. They had 30 hours left, and needed to hit back.
"Shadows form up."
"What's up Ghost?"
"Go to 411 First Avenue, in the garage, grab everything, there is an elderly gentleman in the house, bring him too, he has my spot in the bunker, the old man is my grandpa, get him inside, set up his room just the same as his house is, every detail."
"Yes sir, good luck out there."
As the Shadows geared up and headed to ODTA's Southern District, the Ghost and other pilots met up on the Tarmac.
"Odds aren't in our favor, but we've got to try something, D.C will suffer for this."
"Agreed, Ghost, would you bless our last flight?"
"We ask of our lord, grant us speed, and mental focus, let us come home victorious and keep defending our home, this won't be the last flight." said the Ghost as the others bowed their heads.
"Today we strike at the heart of this fallen nation's capital, we will fight to the last minute, the last bullet, the last plane, the last man, the last breath, WE FIGHT!" chanted the Ghost.
"WE WILL RISE! FIGHT AND DEFEND!" chanted the others as they walked to their planes.
Out of the entire U.R.D.A.F 200 Warbirds were ready to take off and fight, 200 pilots would be locked out of the bunker once time ran out.
