It started the second Caius took her hands and led her away from the new topic she was about to start up. Raziah knew the negativity had been getting the best of her, and she was so swayed by it that she had been willing to actually sit between them during such an occasion, in front of so many piercing and watching eyes. She was thankful Caius had shown up, or else she would have definitely taken her seat and continued her conversation with the prince from where she left off.
As the joy-filled child lead her away from them, the hall grew quiet once again. Raziah needn't turn around to know that someone had shown up again, but she wasn't interested in seeing whoever it was and had just concentrated on handing Caius the plates he so desired. She made sure he was holding it well before she removed her grip.
