Elliott stood in the middle of the forest, his mind secured on his location. After seeing the eerie object in the Queen's room, he had thought to not quickly jump to conclusions based on only what Aragon had told him, and Elliott wanted to hear from the Crown witch's mouth herself.
And so, he could feel the warmth coming from right in front of him. He'd never been inside the Amethyst Forest before and had never thought of doing such, but he had no other option but to do this.
He started to chant the spell that was supposed to open the gates into the Amethyst Forest, and just as it's always been, it weakened him a little. Not just any witch could achieve such a feat. An ordinary witch would have fainted from extreme exhaustion before they even got to the end of the chant.
His arms and legs felt weak, but on the outside, he still looked tall and strong as if not a single atom of energy had been taken away from him.
