Chapter 12 - Opportunity (A)

Early in the morning, the whole community was shocked by the number of corpses strewn about. Blood splattered everywhere, and some parts of the body fell out of place. They died horribly.

The woman's auction place overnight turned into a human slaughterhouse. The witnesses, namely the girls who were about to be sold, just fell silent with trembling bodies. They shed tears between horror and happiness.

Happy because the cursed humans have died.

The slayer was so quick to finish off the victim that he was barely visible. All they knew was a flash of white shadow streaking like lightning. In one incision, the human body - the human has fallen. Screams of pain could be heard throughout the house which served as a conduit for the women.

No one was hurt but immoral humans. Women sellers and buyers who are ready to accommodate the girls who want to be enslaved.

The crowd dispersed after security officers arrived and cleaned up the bodies. This incident is the same as the tragic death of one family, namely the death of noble Haye. No one knows the cause and who is responsible for their deaths. And this causes anxiety for residents.

People started muttering and spreading rumors that demons and invisible beings were doing all this.

And not far from there, amid a crowd of people who packed the location of the crime scene. Someone tugged at the corners of his lips. The man then slowly walked away from the crowd and disappeared like a ninja.

Suwa washes her face. The river water is cool. Regulating the heart that had been beating crazy since yesterday. He tried to stabilize his mind.

Yesterday, the last Falcon had committed yet another assassination and it was on his orders. Now, for some reason, anxiety enveloped the girl.

You should be laughing happily Suwa, getting rid of heartless humans like them. Jump triumphantly, if need be you come mocking and spitting at those bastard faces.

Watching how they die with a big laugh.

But Suwa did not dare to do so. Yesterday, he just shuffled sitting under a tree covering his ears when Ludra finished them off. His body even trembled at the thought of how the silver-eyed creature had launched its action.

Shouldn't he be happy?

But why does his heart become uneasy and feel guilty?

Oh my gosh, Suwa gets rid of that thought!

It's in the heart.

He had been pacing erratically, occasionally playing with both hands feeling restless for no reason.

Zie the giant eagle who sat stretched out on the ground also moved his eyeballs left and right following the girl's direction. Zie felt dizzy herself.

While Audra just watched the girl's behavior with a flat expression.

"I smell the power increasing."

A voice stopped Suwa's movement. He turned his head, along with Audra and Zie.

The girl tilted her head. His dark bead looked confused. Who was the man who suddenly appeared behind the tree?

The blue-eyed old man with various wrinkles on his face smiled widely. Stepping up to Suwa.

"Who?" Suwa narrowed her eyes. Remembering whether she had ever met this man.

"You don't remember me?" The old man put on a sad face. His blue eyes glanced at Ludra who looked indifferent. Ignoring his arrival.

"We've met before." Said the man again.

Suwa's frown grew even more.

This old man is very strange.

Not human.

Run away. Suwa inched to seek refuge in Audra.

The blue-eyed old man's face grew even sourer. With artificial sadness, he said playfully, "Why am I always being forgotten?"

"Of course. You always change your face Mamoru." Laura exclaimed making Suwa who was close to him widen his eyes.

He remembered the name.

The one called Momoru laughed, "Ahh yes. I forgot." He wiped his face with one hand. And a second later the man's face changed.

Suwa widened her eyes again. Surprised to see the miraculous thing once again. It seems that from now on he must prepare mentally. With the Falcon, he had to see other absurd things.

And now he remembered very well who it was. He's the bastard wizard who deliberately led him to resurrect the Falcon.

I don't know why his face looks disgusting.

Suwa snorted. I want to punch this witch.

"Why are you here?" asked Laura.

Mamoru glanced for a moment at the woman who was giving him a blatant look of disapproval. Chuckling for a moment, he turned his attention back to Audra.

"The darkness already knows where you are. Be careful!"

Laura nodded.

"Hmm... Has he done his job well sir?" Mamoru spoke again. This time looking directly at the woman who summoned the Falcon.

That look is annoying. Before Laura could answer, the girl first exclaimed, "Of course it is. You can smell Audra's growing power yourself."

Mamoru blinked for a moment. Slowly his lips curled and then laughed loudly until his body shook too. Thinking the girl's words were something funny.

Feeling laughed at. Suwa couldn't bear to throw stones at the witch.

"It turns out that some legendary creatures are crazy too," Suwa whispered to Audra.

But of course, the Falcon didn't respond. Making Suwa chuckle even more irritated.

The two legendary creatures who are with him have different characters but both make people angry.

Mamoru stopped laughing when he received Audra's sharp gaze. Clearing his throat once, he exclaimed, "Looks like Mr. Ludra hasn't ordered the actual task yet."

"Go Mamoru!" Throw Ludra so cold.

Suwa smiled happily. Great action!

"Ha ha ha." Mamoru laughed again when he saw Suwa who seemed excited to be driven away, "I'm going, sir and I hope you don't miss me, miss."

"WON'T!" Suwa replied curtly.

Mamoru laughed again before disappearing.

Suwa breathed a sigh of relief. One annoying creature has gone.

But...

Suwa tilted her head, suddenly remembering the ambiguous sentence the witch had said before leaving.
