Chapter 1: A Second Chance
Story short… I died. Yeah, that's how it starts. One moment I was sitting in my living room, minding my own business, and the next, I was staring down the barrel of a gun. A robber broke into my house, panicked, and pulled the trigger. I can still hear the shot echoing in my head. It wasn't quick, though—I had time to think. I thought about my family, about what would happen to them without me. My heart ached knowing they'd have to go on without their son and brother. Then, everything faded to black. Now here I am, floating in a void, waiting for… something. Anything. Knowing the fanfics I constantly read, I secretly hoped for some kind of omnipotent being to show up and give me another shot.
Who knew my wish would come true? A blinding light appeared, and from it came a being of immense presence, someone—or something—I instinctively knew was beyond comprehension. It spoke, its voice reverberating through the void like a chorus of galaxies. "Hello, child. I am Zero, the origin, the beginning of existence itself. I'm here to grant you a second chance. You may choose the world you wish to live in and three wishes to shape your new life. I chose you at random, so don't get any delusions of grandeur. I'm just curious to see what you'll do." Zero's voice was calm but carried an undeniable authority. My mind raced as I realized this was my chance to start over.
Without hesitation, I made my choices. "For my first wish, I want a superior spider-sense, but for Spider-Man and daredevil. Enhanced smell, taste, hearing, all of it.
Second, I want my own wolf kwami, like the ones from Miraculous Ladybug.
Third, I want a strong healing factor, so I can recover from any injury."
And the world I want to go to is miraculous ladybug Zero nodded, satisfied. "Done. You'll start in the United Kingdom. I've set you up with some essentials, but the rest is on you. Learn, grow, and entertain me." Before I could ask any questions, the floor beneath me disappeared, and I fell into a swirling portal. I screamed, tumbling through the void until everything went dark.
