I didn't wait to admire the transformation. Leaping out of the apartment, I sprinted toward the chaos. My body moved faster and more fluidly than I'd ever thought possible. The villain had destroyed part of a building, and the hero—someone I later learned was called Nightwing—was trapped under debris. A chunk of the building was about to fall on him, but I jumped into action, catching it just in time. "You okay?" I asked, setting the debris aside. Nightwing looked up at me in shock. "Thanks for the save. Who are you?" I hesitated for a moment. "Call me White Fang."
We worked together to subdue the villain, my enhanced senses giving us a crucial edge. Every time the villain moved, I could sense it before they acted, allowing us to stay one step ahead. Once the fight was over, Nightwing gave me an approving nod. "Not bad for your first day, White Fang. Paris could use someone like you." Before I could respond, a reporter rushed over, shoving a microphone in my face. "Who are you? A new hero?" Taking a deep breath, I gave a small smile. "I'm White Fang, and I'm here to help." With that, I turned and disappeared into the shadows.
Two years later, I was on a plane to Paris, ready to start the next chapter of my journey. The past years had been a whirlwind of training, saving people, and learning what it meant to be a hero.
