After Terry got up off the ground with Johns help the both of them heard medusa say as a few tears trickled down her cheeks while holding the egg

Terry smiled and said
"No big deal, just send word to my shop on the 98th floor should you ever need help again it's called the /Eclipse Anvil/"
Medusa got up and said before walking up the flight of stairs
"I will my friends, now follow me for your reward and please bring the slimes with you for we still need to find the mastermind of this attempt to destroy my house"
Both terry and John each picked up a box and followed Medusa till they reached a giant library and heard Medusa say while slithering up some stairs
"This is my study hall and some books go back to ancient times to when I was born or some to the present day, and I offer you both passage to explore this library"
Terry and John then both got a system notification saying

Terry and John both smiled as they began to imagine what they could find before John said
"So what are you going to do with theses things?"
Medusa stopped in front of a very old bookshelf and said as she grabbed a worn down book that barely had a cover for it
"To extract its information, I will require a spells incantations to help me out with finding the thief's master"
Terry said while looking around the library
"You wouldn't happen to have a book on material properties?"
Medusa started flipping through the pages of the worn down book and said
"No, I do not think so but even I'm not sure of what I have in this library"
Terry took a mental note of what Medusa said before hearing Medusa say as she stopped on a page in the old book
"Here we are, this spell with allow us to see the slimes memories"
Terry and John looked at the page only to see that it was scribed in an unfamiliar language but there was however a small diagram that explained it as they hear Medusa say
"This spell will turn the slimes into a memory potion but since their not connected to each other there will be two potions and some will have parts the other won't"
John then said as he kept looking at the page
"That means 1 of us will not take a potion while the other two work together with what they find In there"
Medusa shook her head and said while laying the book on one of the tables
"No, you both will take a potion and find the mastermind behind this as they would not know who either of you are"
Just then both John and Terry lighted up to symbolize they had levelled up and saw a few notification saying for the both of them

As John and terry were finished looking at the quest they both noticed that both of Medusa's hands started glowing purple before asking John and Terry
"I haven't used this spell in decades, so May I suggest that you keep your distance"
Terry then stood behind John while he deployed a wall of bones in front of them for good measure as Medusa started writing a pattern of unfamiliar runes in the air and spoke as she continued writing the runes over the two boxed slimes
"Tata Vori Shor Hali Poli Boqu!"
As Medusa continued the incantations over and over again a light blue alchemy circle with the same runes Medusa was writing in the air started to appear around the two caged slimes till every small detail of it could be seen
Terry and John both saw from behind the bone wall that after the circles form the slimes started to melt into the shape of a tiny glass vial with a silver liquid inside
Terry immediately asked from behind the bone wall
"Did it work?"
Medusa pulled out a magnifying glass with some more runes on the handle and said after examining the vials
"Yes, it is safe now"
After hearing this John almost instantly made the bone wall disappear and say
"What happens when we drink these"
Medusa then said as she put the book and magnifying glass away
"Once you drink this you'll enter your Mindscape and have access to the slimes memory's and from there you must find whoever is behind this"
Terry and John both grabbed a vial and said in unison before downing the entire bottle like a shot glass
"Bottoms up"
Medusa held her egg close to her and said as both John and Terrys vision started to fade as if they were falling asleep while they kept standing
"Good luck my friends and the potion will only last an hour for you both"
