After the potion wore off John immediately said as he felt a sudden headache along with Terry
"Ow….. hopefully we will be able to find who's behind this"
Terry said as he started rubbing his temples before sitting down in a chair
"The slime was handed to a [Tarnished Scarecrow] in the /Troll Market/ who then sneaked it into your home to steal the egg"
John sat down as well and said as he looked up at the ceiling of the library
"Multiple people have received this one slime from someone with a prosthetic hand made out of metal with a purple gem on the palm"
Terry said as he looked at John then Medusa
"When we get back to my forge I can ask my assistant if he knows anything about this"
Medusa then got up and said while holding her egg
"I've had the servants clean the great hall after your battle with the slime and your gold is waiting there along with some equipment from my treasury"
Terry got up and said while patting Johns shoulder
"Let's hurry then, the sooner we find whoever sent the slime the faster we can get rid of them"
John got up and as him and Terry followed Medusa before john said while seeing a painting of Medusa and a man with white hair and a teal blue mask with a tidal waves design
"Who's the man in this painting with you?"
Medusa stopped and turned to see the painting John spoke of and said after a few seconds of staring
"That was my husband but... he's gone now"
Terry said after he looked at Medusa for a couple moments
"Let's go"
Medusa then turned and continued walking down the hall with John and terry following behind her till they reached the great hall to see that it was fully repaired as if the battle with the slime hadn't even happened
Terry then saw 46 Lamia servants all standing behind a pedestal that all had different weapons,armour or even rings and jewelry and the two same chests filled with gold from when they first met Medusa and heard her say as she stopped on the top of the stairs
"As your reward for bringing my daughter back to me, you may take a item from my treasury as well as 10,000 gold"
Both John and Terry bowed before walking down the stairs before they started walking past the pedestals and looking for the item they wanted
Eventually John picked up a black cloak with some small bones running down the spine and down the sleeves and around the collar that was called
[Oblivions Curse] and said after collecting his 10,000 gold
"Terry I'll see you at the forge later, I'm going to see what I find at the troll market"
Terry waved and saw John leave before continuing to look for an item he would want before hearing Medusa say with a smile as she watched Terry look for an item
"You have an impressive amount of faith in your friend"
Terry smiled and said as he continued looking
"Me and John go way back since we were young so I will always trust him"
Medusa said while looking at her egg then the rows of lamias
"He's family"
Terry stopped and saw a small vial that was skinner then his pointer finger and was filled with a black substance and was called
[Vicious Symbiote Vial]{Legendary}
(Description)
A special vial containing an ancient creature called a Vicious symbiote that can only survive in another creature
Terry grabbed the vial and said as he raised it up for Medusa to see
"I'll take this for my reward and will return with John when we figure more out"
Terry heard medusa say as he put the symbiote vial in his inventory and collected his gold
"I will be waiting"
Terry turned and smiled before walking out of the door and back into the /Dungeon Market/ and started making to way back to the 98th floor to pay another visit to the /Scavenger Market/ to get more resources to make more items
After reaching the 98th floor Terry saw FallingSanta and the others waiting at the corner and heard LogePhilly say while waving over at Terry
"Took you long enough! You gonna start making that gear or what"
Terry walked over and said while patting FallingSanta's shoulder
"We just got one stop, the scavenger market again"
Everyone looked confused before logeSeal said
"But didn't you use the last of your gold for the dungeon tickets?"
Terry said before walking off towards the
/Scavenger Market/ with the others following behind him
"Don't worry, I'll explain on the way"
FallingSanta looked at the others before saying two LogeSeal and LogePhilly
"Stay at his forge incase he try's to bail out of the deal"
Both of them nodded before walking off towards the /Eclipse Anvil/ and left FallingSanta and GrimShot to follow Terry to the scavenger market where he went to pick up a substantial amount of resources with the 10,000 gold
Once Terry reached the market he found found Stella again and said after getting her attention
"Hello again, I'm back for more"
Stella smiled and said as she took the list of materials again from Terry
"Welcome back my lord, is their a budget this time as well that I should know my lord?"
Terry smiled and said
"Yes, 10,000 gold this time"
Stella misheard Terry and said
"Okay I'll find what I can for less then 1,000 gold"
Terry pulled out the money back and said while staring Stella in the eye
"I didn't say 1,000 I said 10,000"
Stella was shocked and nodded before whistling for two Minotaurs to come over and help
"V-Very well my lord, please wait here"
Terry then turned and saw FallingSanta as well as GrimShot stare at him before saying
"What?"
Grimshot immediately asked while looking at Terry in shock
"What happened after you left?! Earlier you were a beggar and now your rich?!"
Terry chuckled and proceeded to explain what happened while Stella and the two Minotaurs helped collect the materials that were on the list
