All the management and the employer were in the underground parking. They were watching the police and forensic teams examining the bodies. Nine of the men were alive, they were taken to the police hospital. The employer did not understand this. He employed advanced security forces to keep the hotel safe. He was trying to figure out how his guards did not spot any suspicion here. He was becoming really anxious. The forensic teams were taking a blood samples from the bodies. They were also trying to get the weapons that killed them or fingerprints on the bodies. So far, they had found no weapons or bullets anyway. There were no fingerprints either. The police officers were keeping the employees away from the scene.
Samantha's car appeared behind the crowd. She looked at the entrance. There were officers standing by the entrance to keep unauthorized people away from the building. Samantha parked where the other police vehicles were parked. She got out of the car, closed the door, and walked to the entrance. Two officers saw her coming so they were moving the crowd to make way for her. Some of the employees did not want to listen so the officers had to drag them away. Most of the employees made way for her. As she was walking passed, the employees greeted her. She greeted them as she was walking by giving them a slight bow. She did have not to hand in time to greet them individually.
The officers were still busy looking at the wounds to find out the cause of death. The forensic teams believed that their bullets did not cause the men's death. Their wounds were shaped like lines. Samantha appeared at the scene. Some of the officers noticed.
"Guys, stop what you are doing. Officer Lau is here.", one male officer spoke.
All the members looked to make sure it was her. They put everything down and got up. Everyone stood where they were standing and bowed to Samantha. Samantha also bowed to them. All of them lifted their heads and looked at each other. Samantha was looking around. She was amazed to see so many dead bodies.
"What happened here?", she asked the officers.
"Some of the staff members found these bodies around half-past ten in the evenings. The bodies were lying like that as soon as the members arrived. We only arrived this morning to do some examinations." one male officer spoke.
"Why didn't the employer call you earlier?", she asked firmly.
"Mam, we only receive a message this morning."
"This is ridiculous. If the employees found these bodies, the employer should have called the police immediately.", Samantha said with some anger.
The officers looked at the grounds. Samantha's blue Redmi phone vibrated. She took out her phone from her pocket and looked at the message.
Here's the camera footage of the incident.
There was also a link below the message. This message was from an unknown number. Samantha was thinking twice about whether she should click on the link. She looked at the officers who were staring at her. She made up her mind and clicked on the link. The footage came up immediately. There was a man coming toward the guards. It looked like the employer. Three guards had their backs facing him. The employer took out a silver gun and shot the three guards. The employer opened the gates wider. Twenty vans entered the parking one time. The employer closed the gates and then walked out of the area. He did not look at the gates which meant there were more coming. That would have been Mr. Saidu and his men. The footage stopped playing. Samantha was shocked by this. She looked at the employer who was pretending to play the victim.
"Arrest the employer of this hotel!", she instructed the officers.
"Yes mam!", four officers acknowledged.
The employer became startled that he got caught. Samantha was also pointing at him. Everyone looked at him with some shock. His eyes showed that he was guilty. He started running to a corner but two officers caught him immediately. One officer took off his handcuffs and cuffed the employer's hands. The employer started screaming while everyone was watching him. Samantha watched him getting dragged. He was looking at her with his snake eyes. She could even hear him cursing her. She had no time for him and carried on the investigation. She squatted down to look at the body. She found a wound on his chest. It was shaped in a line. The weapon could be a blade, knife, or arrow. Samantha immediately knew who it was.
"White Jaguar.", she whispered.
"Officer Lau.", one female officer ran towards her. She stopped one meter away from Samantha. "We checked all the footages. One security guard told me that the cameras went off at half past nine then turned back on at ten o'clock.", she explained.
Samantha stopped examining the body. "The employer definitely did this. He didn't want the guards to know what he was doing at the parking. He switched the camera off during that period.", she whispered. She got up, dusted her hands then looked at the officer. "I want you to do background checks on the owner of this hotel.", she instructed.
"Yes mam.", the officer acknowledged.
Suddenly, everyone's phones excluding Samantha's phone made noises. All of them looked at their phones. Few people already made sighs of shock. Samantha already knew it was the footage. All the employees could not take their eyes off their phones. A small smile appeared on Samantha's face. White Jaguar was becoming more impressive.
