Riya was feeling much better that she could make breakfast. Finally, she could make her breakfast. She was still limping but not as much as yesterday. She was also going to do some baking later on for Feng, Lisa, and Susan for doing so much for her. She was making dinner with Liang tonight so she would probably bake a cake for him too. She was going to take Yingjie, Kris, Holly, Lucas, Aliya, and Ling out one of the days. Plus she also needed to see Michael about the contract. She was going to give him a wonderful surprise. She could not wait because she was going to see him after her breakfast. And she was also waiting for Liang to bring the contract.
Riya finished making breakfast and washed all the dirty dishes. She made scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon for Ling, and toast. She dished out for herself and Ling. Ling was probably still sleeping. Riya was plating up Ling's breakfast and keeping it in a warm oven. Someone was knocking on the door. Riya walked slowly towards the door. She stopped in front of the door. She placed her left hand on the door to hold her balance. She opened the door and it was Liang. Riya opened the door wider for him.
"Good morning Wang.", she greeted him.
"Good morning Moods.", he greeted her back.
"Did you get it?"
"Yep.", he lifted the red folder in his hand. It was the contract.
"Thank you.", she took the folder. "You can come in.", she said.
"Thank you.", he entered the apartment.
Riya closed the door behind her. "Do you want some breakfast?", she asked.
Liang was walking around the apartment. "No thank you, I already have my breakfast."
"Okay, I'm going to the hotel. I need to sort this out before it gets ugly.", she said then placed the file on the counter. Now she was putting Ling's breakfast in the warmer oven.
Liang looked at her. "What are you going to do?", he asked out of curiosity.
She took her plate and cup of tea. "It's a surprise.", she said while walking toward the dining table.
Liang watched her limping. "Have you heard what happened last night?", he asked.
"Nope, what happened?", she slowly sat on the chair.
"Fifty women were recused yesterday. About forty-five men were found in underground parking. Only nine men are kept alive. The victims said that a motorcyclist did this and it was a woman."
"White Jaguar."
"Correct. And the police did identities on the victims. Those went missing about five years ago. Some women and girls went missing years ago who are still alive."
"White Jaguar is everywhere. Yanwu also sold victims to gangsters from other countries. The police should get all the records of the Yanwu's connections. Then the police will be able to find the missing victims.", Riya took a bite of her buttered toast.
"Yanwu is too smart to keep records. He knows it's evidence so he will destroy them. Who do you think it is?", Liang took a seat next to her.
"Aliya and Lucas had a chat with me yesterday. Ling has been on her phone for almost the whole day but not in the evenings. I also noticed it last night before ten o'clock. Aliya suggested that she is White Jaguar.", Riya explained.
"What makes her say that?"
"I saved her before the other victims were saved by White Jaguar. She must have come up with strategies while the person she was serving was out or sleeping. She looks like she is the only one capable of taking revenge but she was too scared of that man. After I recused her, she must have started coming up with strategies on how to get the victims out of there. And she decided to start now. Not to mention that the hotel is not far from this building. Ling would have gone there just before ten o'clock.", she took a bite of her scrambled eggs.
"Possible. But anyone will be after him. I have a feeling that someone must have been training for years to become a brilliant fighter so she would be able to fight back. She finally got the guts to save those victims and kill Yanwu.", Liang explained his theory.
"She is saving the victims and killing the men first. Then she would only have Yanwu. She wants to make her life easier. Is any police officers after him? There must be one police officer that has been on this case for years."
"Samantha Lau. She has been working on this case for ten years. But I don't think she is capable of going there. She is also his biggest target."
"Why?"
"Because her daughter went missing while she was on this case. No one knows where her daughter is. Samantha gets worse by putting stress on her officers to bring this man down. Honestly, I don't blame her because her daughter is probably fighting for her life. Samantha would do anything to bring back her daughter which is why I'm suspecting Samantha is White Jaguar.", Liang explained.
"I'm guessing anyone could be White Jaguar because Yanwu is a cruel heartless man. He is also a disgusting man.", Riya said in some anger.
"Agreed."
"What are you going to do for the day?", she asked. She was finishing her breakfast.
"I have to go back home to get dressed formally just now and look at some paperwork. What about you?", Liang got up.
"I will be seeing that Neon Green Headed Twit. Depending on the time we are going to argue, I will be baking for the rest of the day.", she got up and walked to the kitchen.
"I wonder what disaster is going to happen there because I will be there too. Don't forget we are going to make dinner in the evening.", he said while following her.
"Okay."
Riya put the dishes in the sink and started washing them. Liang leaned against the fridge with his arms crossed. He was watching her wash the dishes. Riya was washing the dishes, making sure there was no one spot of dirt on them. Riya placed them on the rack when she noticed Liang staring at her.
She looked at him. "Is there something wrong with my face?", she asked.
"Nope."
"Then why are you staring at me?"
"I just like staring at you.", he answered with a smirk.
"Well, it's a bit creepy.", she finished washing the dishes. "I'm off to the hotel now."
"Are you walking or driving?"
"Walking. I want to stay healthy until the festive season. The hotel is also three minutes away, there's no need for a car."
"Then I will be walking with you since we are going around the same time. I parked my bike in your parking by the way."
"No problem, I don't have a car and I don't know how to drive on the right as yet.", she opened the door. She took the folder and her bag.
"You can buy a car if you are traveling long distances. For now, you can walk. Shanghai is safe, you can even take a walk at midnight.", he came out of the apartment.
"I still prefer walking because I love the view.", she came out and then closed the door.
"It is. It's better on Valentine's Day and Christmas."
"Did you give anyone a rose just year?", Riya was curious.
"Nope because I was the one receiving a lot of roses and chocolates last month. I still got twenty more of milk Lindt chocolates."
Riya and Liang started laughing while walking to the elevator. Riya forgot to remind him of something. "Word of warning, I do scream very loud so use cotton wool for your ears."
"I think I can handle it."
Riya really wished he did not say that. She did scream very loud. Riya and Liang were walking toward the elevator. They could hear people from the other apartments including their television. They could even hear the news talking about White Jaguar. The people were becoming curious about who was White Jaguar. Everyone was curious about who she was.
