The next morning...
Vera opened her eyes slightly and could feel the same throbbing pain at her head, but this time, it seemed to reduce a little. Her body was achy and weak like her muscles were overworked.
The first thing she sighted was the same ceiling she looked a while ago as the memory of the last incident flashed back causing her to slam her hand on her forehead, caressing it to stop the pain.
The images flashed back again but this time, was with speed, as she felt everywhere upside down. She screamed out loud, pressing her head hard on the bed, which caught the attention of the nurses. They hurriedly walked to her bed, holding her hand trying to calm her down.
"Stop..please!!..Tell it to stop!! Argh!" She yelled, clutching the bedsheets that covered her tight.
"Miss calm down, everything would be alright!" A nurse reassured, holding her shoulders lightly
"Call the doctor, hurry!" The nurse ordered, as the other nurse ran following her command.
Few minutes later, the doctor arrived inside her room, with a worried expression.
"What happened?" She asked, using her stethoscope to check her heartbeat, while holding her wrist to check her pulse.
"She was just screaming asking to tell it to stop. We tried to calm her down but it was futile so we sedated her" The nurse explained, heaving a sigh.
"Very good then" The doctor commented, putting her stethoscope back on her shoulder, looking at the sleeping lady.
"We are afraid that her situation will expand if it keeps up like this" The doctor said, with a concern look.
"Do that mean that it affected her brain too" The nurse asked curiously, facing the doctor.
"There is a possibility...but let's wait and see then" She said, averting her gaze away from vera to the young nurse at her side.
"Check up on her in less than an hour or more, and submit the report for today" she ended, looking at vera for the last time before patting the young nurse shoulder slightly and left.

It was already evening when vera woke up. She kept opening and closing her eyes, trying to fight the urge to sleep again.
Grabbing the bedsheet covering her, she pulled it off, while her eyes were shut. She sat on the bed slowly, with her eyes barely opened.
How long have I been asleep? vera thought. She stepped on the white tiles, and this time, the pain was not much unlike before. She walked towards the window, leaning at it's frame while staring blankly outside. Though her knees felt weak, she walked out of the room. Walking towards the corridor looking for a place to relax and recieve fresh breath, she noticed just a couple of nurses, hair tied back with eyes bloodshot from tiredness and troublesome patients. She felt to emotional to be tired but probably looked worse than them in appearance.
She turned to her corner, moving outside through the exit door as she felt cool fresh breeze oozing around her. She spotted an empty sit at the front that gives a better view of the moon above the sky as she walked and sat on it.
She looked up, staring at the magnificent view of the sky, not noticing the someone's gaze were fixed on hers.
After a while of silence, she spoke.
"It's beautiful, isn't it?" she asked, admiring the moon too. Her blonde loosed hair danced to the rhythm of the breeze, as the view was so mesmerizing to watch. Her hazel eyes and long lashes made her look much beautiful as vera couldn't help but stare at her admiring such beauty.
"Yes, it is" Vera responded, looking at the sky once again.
"If only life could be like this..peaceful and shining" she said, while looking at the sky, with a hoping expression.
Vera stared at her "Yes, if only it could be like this"
She smiled, shifting to the empty seat at her left. "Am alivia and you?" she introduced with a smile.
"Am vera" vera simply answered, giving her a faint smile.
"Nice name vera." she commented happily.
"Thank you" Vera appreciated, breathing in the cool breeze that just brushed her face. She smiled continuously.
"Can we be friends vera" Alivia asked.
"Sure.." Vera gave a quiet laugh as they both laughed together.
"You know..I have no idea how I got here in the first place. Just woke up and find myself here, in this rediculous outfit" She said, holding the hospital gown with an irritable look.
Vera chuckled "Me too..but you know, is quite fun to be in somewhere surrounded by people who are solemn and sad" Vera said, staring blankly at the sky as alivia glanced at her before responding.
"You might have been through a lot I think. Your expression defines it" she said.
"Yes, many..." She was interrupted but the loud voice that screamed her name, as she saw hugo running towards her.
"Looks like vera has gotten into a big trouble" Alivia whispered, teasing her.
"Yeah, maybe" She quietly laughed, standing up in a hurry and rushed towards hugo as he embraced her tightly.
"I could die if you continue hugging me like this" vera spoke barely audible under his shoulder, as he immediately released her checking every side of her body.
"Are you okay? I mean, why did you get me scared?" he asked worriedly.
He cupped her face gently, making her look at him "Don't ever leave without letting me know okay?"
She nodded childishly "You could let me go now.." she said, blinking her eyes playfully.
He released her face and slightly dragged her, walking in a hurry. Vera turned back, bidding alivia a farewell look before dashing away.
"Finally, I have found you"
