As soon as Adrianna entered her apartment, she was shocked to see Alaric standing in the lobby and gazing at her. His sleepy eyes yet dangerously penned at her as if she had committed some crime and he was here to punish her.
She gulped the saliva down and stayed outside the apartment. In a blink of an eye, Alaric grabbed her arm and pulled her inside the house, locking the door behind.
She was about to scream but Alaric covered her mouth and dugges his nose on her shoulder, inhaling her scent.
Suddenly, He frowned and pushed her a bit.
"Why do you smell like that?" He asked her.
Adrianna was confused at his words but asked him, "what do you mean? How do I smell?"
He sniffed the air and his eyes turned glowing red but he calmed himself down.
"Was someone with you?" He glared deeply in her eyes and clasped her wrist tightly.
Adrianna tried to jerk his hands off hers but Alaric's grip was getting only tighter.
