17 year old Anying is the sole heir of the hei household with an emperor bloodline making him the most eligible despite being lazy to continue the lineage of his ancestry.
he had the looks, at least if it means having petal like red soft lips, lean yet graceful figure, an oval small face, slim waist, nose and petite lean body with long straight raven gold, silky hair that reaches his waist.
talents too wasn't a problem, because he happens to be the number one child to awaken as an emperor, with no need to cultivate his strength.
that is to say. this gorgeous beauty named Anying, has all it takes to make people swoon at his presence of strength and beauty, though they didn't. but there was a very massive loophole in his entire perfection....
and that happens to be...
stupidity. [ which happens to be a facade through and through]
amongst many others
though it would have been fatal if he couldn't regenerate his powers just by breathing, it didn't still mean having the personality of being a salted fish and not always taking responsibility was a good thing either.
that was the problem. like right now in the Mansion of the hei household he was being stubborn trying to reject another responsibility, giving his old man headaches in the process.
Anying's grandfather's pavilion.
the old man who already had wrinkles on his face because of one problematic beauty, still counting [ the wrinkles I mean ] was sitting on a chair, rubbing his forehead with a scowl because Anying was trying to refuse another grand responsibility.
" Anying..." he called. his tone filled with tiredness from having to lecture Anying the brat , times without number.
" yes Gramps". the young man replied cooly with his melodic tone coated in dark mischief.
the old man sighed apparently sensing it. " you were already bethrothed to the ye's before you turned ten, and it's your responsibility to marry them on your 18th birthday". he said. peering at the young man with a beauty that could rival the goddesses.
Anying smiled brightly " you said it yourself Gramps.THEN when I was still a kid so I'm not gonna get tied down by a flirt and an ice cube in the name of responsibilities ".
the old man sighed. not even bothering to ask Anying how he knew the well hidden personalities of people he hadn't met before. the old man had witnessed worse actually.
after all the young man loved getting himself in trouble. " Anying... ".he stretched.
" yes Gramps? ". his grandson replied, with a stretch too .
" sigh ~. Anying. jokes set aside. you WILL marry them for protection and... so that they will shoulder your ruling responsibilities instead". emphasizing on the will.
Anying smiled, meaning he was breaking internally for having to face the old man's final words.
" I don't care about those " he said in a tone filled with apathy. a small pause of tension, as the room fell into silence before he continued with " can't do. my freedom will be confiscated.".
grandpa. "..." what freedom?!. at that when the world is being destroyed!.
ignoring the look of despair on the old man's face he added " by the way, why can't your first grandchild take the throne of authority?. aren't I third? ".
another sigh escaped the old man's lips. " only you can rule because only you has an emperor's bloodline among your kins. and if you had taken your responsibilities seriously and still wish to. you would had and still be able to choose whom you wish to tie the knot with...as you can see I'm still your grandpa not a monster ".
the room went quite. with old man Hei frowning and Anying smirking. meaning his heart was pounding hard, as a facade to his internal turmoil. and as a bad sign of an incoming danger for the old man.
Anying finally broke the silence with an.
" I won't".
" you won't what? " the old man fired back. " you can't escape it. since you refuse to take the crown then marry people who would! ". he then averted his
gaze from the young man and added,
" you don't have a choice either ".
