Caught in an unexpected situation, Grey's party found themselves abducted by ants and slowly recovering from their confusion.
Grey assessed the situation, "This is insane. How did we end up in an ant nest? Fortunately, there are no ants here, just larvae. But we need to make sure there are no worker ants nearby." He quickly commanded Jisuka, "Tell your spiders to scout this area and report back if they find any monsters!" Jisuka nodded, and her spiders went off to scout. Meanwhile, Grey instructed the party to prepare for any unforeseen battles.
Everyone prepared their gear and recharged their stamina with potions. Just as they finished preparing, the scouting spiders returned. Grey asked Jisuka, "Did they find any monsters?" Jisuka replied, "No, they found none. It seems they are not around in this part!" Grey thought to himself, "The monsters brought us here, their enemies, and there are no monsters here to protect the larvae. Are those monsters fighting another team or someone so powerful? But we have to hurry."
He addressed the team, "Listen, the monsters are nowhere to be seen around these parts. I think the monsters are fighting another team." Wen Hanol replied, "That makes sense. That's why there are no monsters to protect the larvae!" Grey responded, "Yes, that's why we have to make sure to kill every larva here before the monsters come back." Everyone agreed and started to kill the larvae. Grey asked Jisuka to scout with her spiders again. There were only less than 20 small spiders, one goliath, and three black widows alive after the first floor, which made sense because these spiders were just normal insects.
As they were killing the larvae, they heard a sound again. Grey's party started to move in the lower direction of the ant nest. They had to find the boss monster to go to the next floor. At that time, an announcement echoed, "5th floor has been opened." Grey wondered how much time had passed and looked his watch it has been two and half days since we entered the dungeon.. He thought they might not be the first team to enter the 5th floor because S rank cadets are monster themselve they woukd be in 8th floor or something he thought, so the team that entered would be A rank cadets or B rank at the very least they would be C rank any lower would not be posible we also need to reach atlest 5th floor to get a good grades. Han Leemin, the party's healer, asked, "Who would be the team that entered the 5th floor?" Opdu scoffed, "What are you going to do after knowing that?" Their quarrel lightened the mood.
When they saw their team ranking, it had risen 247th position but was still far from getting good grades. They were in 379th position before descending to the second floor.
After walking for at least five hours without encountering any monsters, Grey's party found themselves growing concerned. Grey thought, "We haven't encountered any monsters yet, but according to the dungeon law, monsters should be appearing frequently due to the malice of the gates." As they moved forward without facing any monsters, they fell back nine positions due to not gaining any points. This concerned the team.
Eventually, they grew tired. Even though they were cadets of UTOPIA, they were also F Rank, so their stamina couldn't last like other class cadets. At that moment, they heard a malicious, sinister sound. Grey and Nanthagopal went to investigate, instructing the party's two tanks, Michale Li and Lilly Winn, to be on alert.
When they hurried to see what was happening, they saw a monstrosity gobbling up a student whole. Countless monster corpses, from worker to general ant monsters, lay dead on the ground, all killed by the monstrosity. Sensing Grey and his comrade, the monstrosity smirked and playfully looked in their direction, sending chills down their spines. Overcome with dread, they started to run away from it. Grey shouted from a distance, "Guys, run! Don't stop, don't look back!"
The team was confused and didn't know what to do. They looked dumbfounded but began to run, believing Grey that something dangerous was there and they couldn't fight it. The monstrosity, with its nasty personality, enjoyed trampling the weak slowly. It let them run purposefully so that it could hunt and enjoy them. It ate the remaining monsters and cadets that it had captured.
Grey and his party had been running for about an hour and a half. They thought they were far from the monster, but soon a creepy crying sound echoed behind their ears. Opdu was so scared he wet his pants. The team's faces turned pale as if they were staring at death itself. But Grey was the only one who wasn't engulfed in fear because of his passive skill. The monstrosity said, "Kekeke, humans, how are you doing? Can I eat you guys? I'm still hungry. Those monsters taste bad for my stomach, you see." No one replied. Death seemed to cover their faces, and all of them lost hope.
Grey shouted "Everyone run I will face him find any other team" Every one knows they can't run away from that but in the face of fear they have had a little hope that some other strong team would be there and started to run, now Grey faced with the monstrosity alone the foul creature is lustfully happy because it can crush their hopes and enjoy them slowly. Grey himself has know he is no match for it but he is the strongest one in the team and have to gamble in his luck and his unnamed Gift and it skills, Grey closed his eyes took a deep breath and activated his unnamed Gifts skill "Monkey kings rage" soon the Golden aura enveloped his entire, this skill multiplies his dormant power 10 times but previously because of his weak body hea cannot exhibhit this power to its potent, "I can only bet on its full power... monkey king or whatever I never prayed in my entire life to any gods or whatever but this time please let me and my team live..."
The monstrosity laughed, its voice echoing through the cavern. "A little light show, human? Do you really think that will help?"
Grey didn't respond. Instead, he charged at the monstrosity, his body moving faster than the eye could see. He struck the beast with his polearm, each hit landing with a powerful thud. This was a new sensation for him. He was now comparable to an S-rank cadet in terms of stats, and he thought he could defeat this monster with his newfound power. However, the monstrosity only sustained some hits and scoffed sarcastically, "Hey boy, I thought it would be some majestic power. For a second, I thought I pissed my pants, you see."
But Grey didn't stop his attack. He continued relentlessly, and the monster realized that it couldn't take him lightly. It started to defend and counterattack. They seemed to be on equal terms in terms of power, but Grey was slowly losing his momentum. He knew he couldn't maintain his power for very long. "Oh boy, it seems you cannot maintain this power long enough," the monster taunted, aware of Grey's weakness.
At that moment, a voice echoed down the narrow path, "Hey, do you want my help?" The voice was light, like a breeze. Both the monster and Grey turned to look at the figure, their expressions filled with questions.
