Chapter 454 - Moria Mine

A riddle. Frodo solved the riddle at the back door and said the word friend in Elvish. Then the back door opened and the group slowly walked in. Wesley took out his magic bow, ready to deal with the water monster in the lake.

Gimli went in excitedly, muttering about the enthusiasm of the Dwarves. They could get a warm welcome here, but the situation inside showed that it was more like a cemetery. There were bones everywhere, and Gimli's plaintive voice was chilling.

The lake outside began to churn, and Wesley instantly raised his magic bow. "The spirits of the wind obey my call. I need sharp arrow feathers to pierce the chest of my enemy. I need wind sharpness and speed, arrow of wind."

As the air vibrated, an arrow of wind appeared in Wesley's hand. The bowstring was drawn and aimed straight at the lake, but his actions made the others wary. Wesley's behavior was so strange that Aragorn shielded Frodo behind him.

Wesley ignored them and kept staring at the lake. The others looked too. At that moment, a tentacle reached out and went straight for Frodo. The appeal of the Ring was everywhere.

Wesley did not release the arrow directly. He was estimating the position of the monster's head. Shooting tentacles alone was useless. This big guy had a lot of tentacles. Aragorn held the sword in both hands and swung it hard, cutting off the tentacles that attacked Frodo. "Roar…" The monster roared, and then seven or eight tentacles shot out at the same time. Wesley shot the Wind Arrow at this time.

The wind arrow cut through the air and went straight into the water. Then the surface of the water shook and all the monster's tentacles went limp, but it hit the wall of Moria's back door directly. After the back door was opened, the magic no longer maintained the surrounding wall, and the wall began to collapse.

He had changed some things, but he still needed to continue through the Moria Mine. Wesley did not understand this very well. He had just felt something else. Although it was obscure, he had seen this power before. It was the will of Middle-earth. Although it was not strong, Apple could clearly analyze it.

"It's not that he can't do it himself, it's just that he can't make a lot of things." Wesley complained about this. The will of Middle-earth is a little confusing to Wesley. Why did this guy have to let them into the Moria Mine? Was it because of the flame demons here?

"Good shot, Sir Gibson," Gandalf said at this time. "But now it seems that we only have one way to go." Then he looked at the deep mine road. The group followed the road and kept going up. The road is not very wide and the stairs are very steep. Wesley very much doubts how the dwarf's short legs can climb these stairs. It doesn't match their physical characteristics at all!

"Moria Mine was attacked, why is there no news from the outside world?" Wesley asked as he walked.

"The alliances of the various races in Middle-earth have collapsed. They rarely come and go. Even the communication between dwarves is not frequent. The distance is too far," Gandalf said. Then they came to an intersection, and several passages let Gandalf listen. "I seem to have forgotten where to go?"

Wesley stood at the intersection and took a deep breath. Then he pointed to a passage and said, "The air here is better." He used the method from the movie, but Gandalf did not trust him.

"Let me think." Then he took out his pipe and sat down to smoke a pot.

Wesley shrugged and sat to the side, unconcerned. Then he looked down the stairs and saw something moving there. It was Sméagol. This guy belonged to one of the Hobbits that had been poisoned by the Ring the longest.

In the end, Gandalf chose the path that Wesley had chosen. They continued on their journey, walking in an upward direction. Wesley had to admire the dwarves for digging so deep. Even with machinery, it might not be possible.

A double wooden door opened slightly and Gimli rushed in, suddenly sad. There was a small sarcophagus inside and a ray of sunlight shone in somehow. They were deep in the mine. Wesley went up to take a closer look, but he could see nothing clearly. There were signs of reflection.

Gandalf picked up a heavy diary from the floor and began to read it, but there was no date on it. The record was broken at the end, and the Hobbit, Peregrine Took, still knocked a barrel over. The loud noise kept ringing in the silent mine. Wesley took out the magic longbow again. Now was a good time to practice using it. Wesley could use it as much as he wanted. There were enough enemies.

As the voices stopped, everyone became nervous, but when nothing happened, they relaxed. But Wesley did not. He knew that something would come.

Sure enough, the war drums sounded, and it began to get noisy outside. The elf Legolas said, "It's the orcs." Boromir ran straight to the door, and several sharp arrows hit the wooden door. He saw a large number of orcs outside, and a Troll.

Bang! The wooden door was closed and Aragorn went to help. They used the abandoned weapons here to hold the wooden door, but the old wooden door would not last long. Everyone pulled out their weapons, including the Hobbit.

Wesley stood directly across from the door, his magic bow drawn, Wind Arrow ready, the ancient Elven chant low.

Bang! Bang! The orcs were hitting the wooden door hard. The living people here were delicious meat in their noses. They hit the wooden door crazily. The old wooden door began to break, bit by bit. This made people very nervous. The wooden door could not withstand it for long. Wesley saw what was going on outside through the gap in the wooden door, and then the wind arrow flew out.

The sharp arrows of wind only made a small round hole in the wooden door and didn't cause any more damage. However, after the arrows of wind flew out of the wooden door, they passed through the bodies of the orcs continuously and didn't stop until they reached the wall. The orcs stopped and watched the way the arrows of wind passed. A row of orcs began to fall and dozens of orcs were killed.

"Roar…" The Troll had no opinion on this. Their minds were too simple and they were still rushing forward. The food inside was his goal. The Orcs were pushed aside or trampled by the Trolls.

"The spirit in the wind obeys my call. I need sharp arrow feathers to pierce the enemy's chest. I need wind sharpness and speed. Wind Arrow." Wesley did not stop. He continued to chant the fairy magic. Wind Arrow flew out again and continued. Wesley began the massacre through the wooden door. The terrain had to be said. It was too right.
