Chapter 455 - The Trial of the White-Robed Sorcerer

The arrows of wind flew out rhythmically, passing through the wooden door one by one. The voices outside subsided, and the expedition inside looked at Wesley in disbelief. Even Legolas of the Elves was shocked. They did not have such magical archers among the Elves.

When everything settled down, Aragorn approached the wooden door cautiously and then poked his head out. There was a ground full of goblins and a Troll, but they were all on the ground and the stench was so bad that it made him want to vomit.

"All done." He turned back and said with difficulty.

Gandalf, on the other hand, was relieved. "Let's move on. More orcs will come. We don't have much time." The expedition rushed out and moved on.

But the Half-Orcs didn't give them much time. It was hard to tell how many of them there were by the sound of their thundering footsteps. Wesley, on the other hand, was happier. Although the expedition had delayed him, there were really a lot of targets here. His chanting began to speed up, and he specifically shot arrows of wind into some of the passages. If they were straight through, the number of Half-Orcs killed would be a lot.

"It's a pity that killing monsters doesn't give experience," Wesley complained, and then he shot as he ran. The orcs were a little afraid of Wesley's magic arrows, and their pursuit was not so firm. They lingered around them hesitantly.

"The heat of the flame brings destruction. I need the violence of the flame to burn all enemies. Fire Arrow." Wesley chanted the magic arrow again, but this time it was a fire arrow. He aimed at the area where the orcs were dense.

Boom! This time, it didn't penetrate, but exploded. The explosive range of a Fire Arrow was about 20 meters, and sparks flew, turning into a raging fire.

"Ah…" The scream was different from the one-shot death of the Wind Arrow. The burning of the Fire Arrow gave more pain to people, but Wesley did not stop. Wherever the orcs were closest to me, Wesley would shoot. Such strength terrified the expedition. A human beside them was so powerful.

Gandalf, as a wizard, did not have this ability. More often than not, he used the sword to fight. It was difficult for magic to work, but now Wesley was like an endless battery. He continued to run in silence until he reached a huge hall. There were more orcs here, many of them even crawling at the top of the hall.

They were everywhere. Even though Wesley's magic arrows had never stopped, he still couldn't control the number of them here. Wesley had a hard time calculating the number of these guys. Thousands?

Finally, they were surrounded in the middle of the hall, surrounded by orcs. Although they were afraid of Wesley's magic arrows, it was different now. As long as they rushed forward, the enemy would be torn apart in an instant.

Just as they were about to move, an even more terrifying sound came. The entrance to the hall in the distance was fiery red. The orcs all looked frightened and then left as if they were running for their lives. Boromir came to Gandalf's side and said, "What monster is coming again?"

"Demons, demons from ancient times, Firelord, none of you are his match. Run." Gandalf took the lead and began to run. Wesley did not have this idea. He wanted to kill Firelord and stand still to use Water Arrow.

However, at this moment, a whisper sounded in their ears. Apple did not stop it because they were very familiar with the fluctuation of this energy. "Don't kill the Flame Demon. He is the trial I prepared for the gray-robed sorcerer."

Wesley put down his magic longbow and turned to run. "Is it really okay for you to waste my time like this? You know, although I promised you, I don't mean that I need to do it your way."

"Yes, there was no such agreement in the beginning, so I will exchange it with something. The white-robed sorcerer Saruman has fallen, and I need a new white-robed sorcerer to replace him, so I have to give the gray-robed sorcerer Gandalf a trial. If he passes, he will be the new white-robed sorcerer. For this, I am willing to offer more magic in exchange, of course, after you complete the mission." The will of Middle-earth made a condition.

Wesley thought for a moment and then asked, "The magic of this world needs to be chanted, and the magic of my world needs to be sketched. Are you sure your magic is useful to me?"

"I'm not sure, but there must be some help. I'm sure of this. Even if some of the manifestations are different, magic has its essence. As long as you discover the essence inside, it will definitely be very helpful. I know you desire power. Are you satisfied with this exchange?"

"Okay, as you wish."

"Thank you." After the two sides talked, Wesley quickened his pace and caught up with the expeditionary team in front of him. They had been running for their lives, and at the same time, without the obstruction of the orcs, they had come all the way to the stone bridge of Moria's main entrance. The bridge was extremely narrow and could only be passed by one person. Wesley felt that this was very unbelievable. What did they rely on to transport things?

After waiting for all the descendants to pass, Gandalf walked at the back alone. He was prepared to send the ancient Flame Devil back to the depths of the underground, but the result was that he was swept by the Flame Devil's whip.

"Save him." Frodo actually asked Wesley for help. Wesley ignored him and turned around and continued forward. The group rushed out of Moria. Hobbits are the saddest. They began to cry, and Frodo actually shouted at Wesley, "You can save him, right?"

"Yes." Wesley did not lie. He did not care. It was not his fault. He would not take the blame.

"Then why don't you save him? You want to take the Ring, right? So you want to get rid of Gandalf?" Frodo's words made everyone glare at him. Gimli picked up his axe and Legolas drew his bow.

"Hehe, I advise you to put down your weapons. If you attack me, then I will not be polite. Gandalf has his fate. This is a turning point in his fate. If he can walk over, then his future is bright and you can still see him. If he doesn't walk over, then he will disappear." Wesley said with a smile.

Aragon was calm. "What do you know?"

"I know a lot. If you give me the ring, then everything will end. If you don't, then let's move on. Time is tight. Without the deterrence of the Flame Demon, the Orcs will catch up soon."

"Don't believe him." Frodo didn't believe Wesley, but Aragorn's instinct told him that Wesley was not lying, because he could destroy the expedition directly. Although he didn't see Wesley's swordsmanship, the power of the magic longbow was enough.

"Well, this discussion ends here. Let's move on. Maybe we can really see Gandalf again. I'm sure he can." Aragorn is now the new leader.
