Ivan was completely stunned when he saw his enemies kneeling down, kissing his robes even though they were injured and bleeding, and threatening to become his most loyal servants!
Ivan was baffled by the nonsense of the Dark Wizards. What nonsense was this, the Noether family trying to rebel against his rule? And why did he need so many servants…
Despite her confusion, Ivan was able to glean some important information from their words, which was that it was the Notts who had been opposing Alicia for the past few months!
Two years ago, Doggett told him that the Wizarding Market in Knockturn Alley was run by six pure-blood families, one of which was the Nott family!
Ivan understood everything in an instant and turned to the men kneeling in front of him, wondering what to do with them.
Originally, he wanted to kill all the Dark Wizards who dared to go against him after interrogating them to prevent them from divulging information about his bloodline magic. However, the situation was different from what he had imagined.
Just as Ivan was hesitating, a series of magical fluctuations suddenly came from all directions. He turned his head abruptly and saw figures in red and black robes. At first glance, there were more than twenty of them!
Ivan instinctively tightened his grip on his wand and did not initiate an attack, as he saw several familiar faces in the crowd, including Alicia, Fran, and Dagget.
The wizards who came to help were also shocked by what they saw!
There were four bodies strewn across the collapsed street, illustrating the devastation of the battle. To their surprise, the three surviving Dark Wizards were kneeling in front of a thirteen-year-old boy.
The leader, Alicia, was very surprised to see Ivan. She hurried forward to give him a hug, but when she reached him, she forcibly suppressed her joy at their reunion.
She simply patted Ivan on the shoulder, then turned her attention to the bodies in the alley and the three Dark Wizards lying on the ground.
Ivan didn't mind Isiah's slightly cold attitude, as he could see that Isiah had been recruiting to fight the Nottes and the Wizarding Market.
It was understandable that she, as the commander, would not want to undermine the strong image she had built up in public.
Ivan did not try to hide anything from Alicia. He explained how he triggered the trap when he got home, how he sensed something was wrong, and how he went out to find her.
"Anyway, I happened to see these people chasing Walker on my way here, so I took care of them…" Ivan tried to make light of the incident, as if he were casually squashing a few flies.
The three Dark Wizards kneeling on the ground were also cursing the ignorant Notte family and begging for Ivan's forgiveness, adding credibility to his story.
When the wizards in red and black heard Ivan's words, they couldn't help but whisper to each other. They couldn't believe that this was the doing of a young wizard.
However, looking around, anyone could tell that a huge battle had broken out here!
Ivan, the final winner, did not seem to be injured at all. This meant that this young sorcerer had used overwhelming strength to end the battle!
"Where's Walker, Sir Harls?" Flan pushed past the wizards and hurried to the front of the room.
Yvonne started, then caught herself.
'That's right. Where's Walker?'
He had been so busy trying to figure out how to use Boggart's Transfiguration in battle that he had been so shocked by the Dark Wizards' reactions that he had forgotten about Walker.
However, Ivan was not worried about Walker's safety.
He had seen enough to know that it was not a Fatal Charm that had hit Walker, and that it had been blocked by a protective ring.
As expected, before Ivan could explain himself, Dobby appeared from the other end of the alley with Walker and the escaped Dark Wizard.
"Move! Don't try anything funny!" Dobby urged the Dark Wizard, poking him in the back.
The Dark Wizard trembled as he entered the alley, and the first thing he saw was the bodies and blood on the ground. Several of his surviving comrades were lying on their knees in front of Ivan.
"D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-I-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-I-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-I-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D
Behind him, Walker immediately kicked him hard, sending him flying away from Ivan.
Ivan looked down at him, and the Dark Wizard crumpled to the ground, as if he had lost all will to fight. He then quickly imitated his fellow Dark Wizards and crawled at Ivan's feet, mumbling words of forgiveness.
The wizards who had come to their aid watched in silence, and a chill ran down their spines. Even Alicia was amazed. It was hard to imagine how Ivan had managed to scare the Dark Wizards so badly.
Ivan was equally confused. Was he that scary?
"Are you all right, Walker?" Flan asked with concern, relieved to see him well.
"I'm fine, Ivan… Sir Ivan-Harrs saved me in time…" Walker said, looking at Ivan with gratitude. He had wanted to call him by his first name, but remembered that Flan had told him to use honorifics in front of everyone.
"By the way, where's Elf? We split up when we were attacked. What happened to him?" Walker asked, suddenly remembering his companion and looking around.
"I'm sorry we were too late, we couldn't save him!" Flan's expression turned sad and she moved away.
Behind him, several werewolf wizards lowered a body to the ground. Walker's mouth was set in a thin line, and he said nothing for a long moment.
Although this was not the first time that Walker had witnessed death in recent days, he could not help but feel a little upset that his comrade-in-arms, who had been joking with him a few hours ago, was now saying goodbye to him.
Ivan also looked over and saw a young, unknown wizard, whom he had never seen before, presumably one of Asia's recruits.
