Chapter 523 - We Are Willing to Be Your Most Loyal Servants!

"Reducto! (Crushed to pieces)"

"Colopotus! (quickly imprisoned)"

A series of spells struck Ivan, sealing off all possible escape routes.

Ivan never intended to evade the beam, nor was he prepared to use the Aura of Magic, and his body began to change rapidly before the beam reached him.

A large amount of black mist poured out of his body, and the light around him seemed to be attracted to it.

In the next instant, before the spell could reach him, a pale, decaying arm shot out of the black mist and blocked the attack. The beam of magical light struck the skeletal arm, but it did nothing.

When the black mist spread in all directions, a tall, strange cloaked figure appeared in front of them.

"D-Dementor?!" The gray-robed Enforcer's eyes almost popped out of their sockets. He wondered if he was still living in a dream. A young wizard had just turned into a Dementor in front of him?

Ivan ignored them, trying to get used to his new body. As he expected, after transforming into a Dementor, his body was immune to most charms.

He had long intended to use the Boggart Transfiguration in actual combat, but he never had the chance. Now that the Dark Wizards in front of him had almost lost their will to fight, and he did not have to worry about Dobby's safety, he could test some of his ideas.

The two Dark Wizards behind the Enforcer were devastated. They could feel that this was not some sort of illusion, because the courage and joy they felt when they saw this figure vanished in an instant, leaving behind endless painful memories.

"What kind of monster is this?" one of them shouted frantically, falling back and scrambling away in the opposite direction.

The other Dark Wizard lost his cool and started waving his wand at Ivan in a frenzy.

"Avada Kedavra! (Avada Kedavra)"

Green beams of light race past …

Ivan ducked, his light body easy to control and more agile than usual.

Although he had the impression that the Killing Curse did not work on Dementors, he was not a real Dementor and did not intend to risk his life for it.

After getting used to the new body, Ivan controlled his monstrous body to unfurl his wide cloak. Like an arrow released from a bow, he quickly flew towards the two people who were still standing there.

The grey-robed Enforcer did not lose his mind like his two subordinates. He waved his wand with all his might and summoned the Cheetah Patronus that had been defeated by the Unicorn's Shadow.

The black mist spread throughout the alley, and the grotesque figure began to swell and change shape as it approached.

The withered, scabbed, and white-boned arm reached out from the fog, and in less than a second, it became as thick as a person's waist. It passed straight through the illusory Patronus and easily crushed the Shield Charm on the gray-robed Enforcer, wrapping around his body and slamming him against the wall behind.

A violent crash echoed through the small alley, and the stone-flagged walls collapsed within moments.

The poor grey-robed law-enforcement officer was as miserable as a rag doll. Ivan's large hand grabbed him and broke several of his ribs. Scarlet blood poured out of his mouth and onto Ivan's fingers.

Ivan released his grip in disgust, and the Enforcer he was holding slipped from his grasp and fell dead.

Dead? I only used a little force…

Ivan was surprised. The first time he had used the Boggart Transformation in a real fight, he had transformed from a Dementor into a giant in order to test its close-quarters combat abilities.

Ivan shook his head. The other man was a commander, after all, and he wanted to keep him for information purposes.

The narrow alley suddenly became very quiet, and even the wailing stopped. The Dark Wizards lying on the ground stared at the scene in shock, and for a moment they forgot their pain.

The Dark Wizard, the only one standing, looked up at the giant, who was six or seven meters tall. He was trembling, and the madness in his eyes had disappeared. Fear and despair crept into his heart, and he did not even notice when his wand fell to the ground.

Clank …

The soft click of the wand hitting the ground was audible in the quiet alley, attracting Ivan's attention.

He turned his head and stared at the Dark Wizard with eyes the size of an adult's fist. Just as he was trying to decide what to do, the Dark Wizard fell to his knees.

This came as a complete surprise to Ivan, but his discarded wand and the way his body shook as he fell to his knees gave him a good sense of the fear he was feeling.

Realizing that she did not need to waste any more of her magic, Ivan cancelled the Boggart Transfiguration, and her large body shrank rapidly as the magic filling her body returned to normal.

Ivan sensed that in the short time it had taken him to transform, he had used up a third of his magic. Combined with the Unicorn's Shadow and the two powerful charms, he only had half of it left.

Ivan's attempt to save his magic was mistaken by the Dark Wizard for a sign. He suddenly remembered something, and quickly crawled to Ivan's feet, trembling, and kissed the hem of his wizarding robe.

"Your… Your Excellency! Please forgive my ignorance… It was the lowly Noether family who bewitched us with their flowery words and gathered some stubborn resistance to rebel against your rule…"

The Dark Wizard spoke carefully, keeping his head down so as not to look Ivan in the face. His tongue was chattering and he was stammering.

The other Dark Wizards who were still alive crawled over to Ivan, dragging their injured bodies with them, and kissed the hem of Ivan's clothes as they did, crying and berating the Noether family for their ignorance and cruelty, saying that they had now woken up and become Ivan's most loyal servants, offering everything in exchange for forgiveness!

Although Ivan had shed his giant form and returned to the appearance of a thirteen-year-old wizard, his young face was more terrifying than the faces of giants and Dementors!

Ivan's display of strength was too powerful. They could not imagine how a ten-year-old child could possess such terrifying combat strength. His ability to transform at will had penetrated their understanding!

Imagination and imagination are often more disruptive than the truth…

After all, the unknown was the greatest fear!
