Could someone else be here?
Sirius looked around and saw no one, but it couldn't be Peter himself!
As Sirius hesitates, the wind blows outside the window, and the biting cold is creeping in from all sides…
"Why is it so cold all of a sudden?" Ron complained, shivering, and Sirius's face fell.
"Oh no, the Dementors are coming, go!" Sirius urged Harry and the others.
"But…what about you?" Harry said hesitantly.
'Don't mind me, I've been in Azkaban for over ten years and I'm familiar with them…' Sirius pretended to be relaxed and waved them away.
Harry tried to protest, but Hermione grabbed him by the arm and pulled him along as Ron grabbed the Cloak of Invisibility and threw it on top of them.
However, they were too late, and a group of hungry Dementors had already floated up from the door…
They could not wait to enjoy the food, but their sharp senses could easily detect the abnormality on the rooftop. In the gray world, various emotions were spreading from three places.
In their memories, there should only be two prisoners on the rooftop!
Harry and the others inside the Invisibility Cloak held their breaths as they cautiously inched towards the door, but the Dementors had already surrounded them.
As the long-lost fear returned, Harry seemed to hear Voldemort's laughter again, as well as a witch's cries of pain as she died.
As a Dementor swiftly floated in front of them and panic spread through the trio, Harry desperately tried to recall how he had learned the Patronus Charm, remembering Ivan's words…
The secret of the Patronus Charm was to magically condense positive emotions into power!
Dementors have nothing to fear. They are also intelligent creatures, and fear those more powerful than themselves…
…
Even as the Dementor's hideous face drew closer, Harry's heart began to calm, and he tried to find the same feeling he had when he cast the Patronus Charm, raising his wand high above his head and roaring.
"Expecto Patronus!"
Specks of light flashed at the tip of the wand, and a white mist of light burst forth. A huge silver creature charged out and knocked the approaching Dementors away with its prongs.
"The Patronus…I did it!" Harry exclaimed as he watched the white blur of light and shadow chasing the Dementors through the air.
"Jesus, Harry! You beat them!" Ron exclaimed in disbelief. If he remembered correctly, Harry had been knocked out of the sky by a Dementor a week earlier.
"This is…a Patronus Charm? When did you learn this?" Hermione was equally shocked and looked at Harry in confusion.
"It was after the Quidditch match that I went out of my way to learn it from Ivan…" Harry explained as he directed the Stag Guardian to knock back an approaching Dementor.
Hermione pursed her lips, feeling a little jealous. She had asked Ivan about the Patronus Charm because of her encounter with the Dementors, but he had put it on hold because he had been too busy recently.
Snorting, the witch took out her wand and chanted an incantation, causing a white mist to waft out and block the Dementors from the other direction.
Harry and the others were not the only ones to be attacked by the Dementors. Some of the more lazy monsters did not crowd around the Dementors, choosing instead to target the other two easier targets.
"Get lost… get lost, don't come near me… When the Dark Lord comes back, he will kill all of you!"
Peter seemed to have lost his mind under the barrage of attacks. He kept shouting crazy things, or perhaps the large number of Dementors reminded him of his time under Lord Voldemort thirteen years ago.
Sirius, who was surrounded by several Dementors, was not having an easy time of it either. He was frowning and occasionally looked pained.
And more Dementors are pushing their way through the windows…
Harry heard Peter's cry and saw what was happening, so he swung his wand, sending the silver stag flying like a bolt of white lightning.
Sirius came to his senses and stared blankly at the white figure, murmuring something to himself, his dark eyes looking at Harry as if he were someone else.
After Harry had helped Sirius out of danger, he asked his Patronus to dispel the Dementors near Peter.
"Why are you helping him? It would be better if he was killed by a Dementor…" Ron asked in confusion.
"These Dementors are insane. What if they killed Peter?" Harry explained.
As Harry put it, the already unregulated Dementors became violent and increasingly aggressive.
Harry and the others felt like they were in deep shit and had no idea what to do…
Sirius snapped out of his daze and told them to leave him alone, put on his Cloak of Invisibility and rush out.
Harry hesitated, worried that the Dementors would take it out on Sirius if he left.
"The Dementors won't have the guts to do anything to me, but if you don't leave now, the Aurors on guard down there will come up soon! Go!" Sirius shouted again.
Harry nodded, gritted his teeth, summoned the Stag Patronus back, and led the way, leading Ron and Hermione out of the observatory.
With dozens of Dementors closing in from all directions, Harry was mentally and physically exhausted from running around trying to keep his Patronus alive.
Luckily, Hermione also knew the Patronus Charm, and although she could not yet summon her Patronus, she was able to take some of the pressure off of Harry, allowing him to hold on.
"Hoo… God… Call for God's Guard! Is that right?" Seeing that his two good friends were so supportive, Ron also wanted to contribute and cast spells like them.
However, such a high-level charm was not something that could be mastered in a short period of time, and no matter how hard Ron tried, the wand did not respond.
Dementors drifted over from nowhere and slapped Ron's wand away, sending it rolling to the side.
"No! My wand!" Ron yelled, trying to run back to get it, but was crushed when a Dementor that happened to be passing picked it up.
