Ron wailed helplessly, his voice breaking, but Harry covered his mouth and whispered in his ear.
"Leave it. There's an Auror coming up. Let's go!"
Downstairs, the sound of rushing footsteps reached them.
Ron looked again at the spot where his wand had fallen, and saw that the Dementor had flown off somewhere with it.
At the same time, Sirius was watching the commotion outside the observatory, hoping that Harry and the others would escape.
However, he was also keenly aware that the Dementors seemed different from before, having become less irritable.
None of the Dementors even came close to him during this time, and most of them gathered around Peter as if they were discussing something…
The wind howled in his ears, and Sirius, who did not speak the Dementors' language, could not understand what they were saying.
In a dark space created by a large group of Dementors, a Dementor with a special wand was trying to calm down its fellow rioters.
"Don't forget what happened before. This is a carefully planned plot by the Ministry of Magic! Those cunning wizards are testing our true obedience to decide what to do with us in the future…"
"Now you must endure… endure… endure more! Wait for the right moment to accomplish your great goal!"
"Only a crouching Dementor can stand!"
…
After Ivan's brainwashing, the Dementors in the observatory finally settled down and stopped making noise.
Yvonne was secretly relieved.
Harry, Ron, and Hermione were really good at causing trouble. He did not expect them to be able to come all the way here and make such a huge mess after he had concealed Sirius's location!
If not for him, they would have been caught red-handed by the Aurors of the Ministry of Magic, and would have been punished at the very least.
That would have been troublesome. Fortunately, he had dealt with it in time…
With that in mind, Ivan turned back to Peter. There seemed to be one more problem to deal with.
If an Auror from the Ministry of Magic came in to question him, Peter might reveal that Harry and the others had been there, or even reveal the identity of the Lupin Werewolf…
"Can Dementors use magic?" Ivan muttered to himself, raising his right hand. Through his blurred vision, he could see that the rotten, shrivelled flesh of his arm was almost glued to his bones, and his scabbed fingers were clenched around a wand.
"It's all in the air!" Ivan shook his arm and aimed it at Peter.
As soon as the incantation was uttered, Ivan's magic was quickly activated, but when it reached his wand, it met with some resistance, and his magic became intermittent. Fortunately, he was able to follow the wand's instructions and release it, hitting Peter.
Peter was now curled up in a corner under the Dementor's torture. When he was hit by the white light, he began to convulse and tremble. It lasted for a while before Peter fainted…
Ivan watched Peter's unusual reaction to being hit by the Memory Charm, then thought about the obscure feeling he had felt when casting the spell, and had a bad feeling about it. He wasn't quite sure how magic would change when used in Dementor form.
Furthermore, Ron's wand, like his own, had unicorn feathers at the heart, and was a natural enemy of Dementors, an evil creature.
"It seems that it's better not to cast spells casually in this form…" Ivan couldn't help but mourn for Peter for a second, sighing to himself.
During this delay, the two Aurors guarding the observatory heard the commotion and rushed over.
They looked at Peter, who was lying on the ground, and became nervous.
One of the Aurors checked Peter's breathing and sighed in relief. He turned to look at the Dementors and asked with a frown, "He's fine. He just fainted…"
"What's going on? What the hell happened here?"
"Someone came in… to save Peter… and ran away!" Yvonne answered brokenly, leaning forward and mimicking Dementors.
The Dementors floating around didn't argue; to creatures without sight, they only knew that someone had slipped into the observatory and attacked them with a Patronus Charm, then slipped away.
"What? Someone's trying to rescue Peter Pettigrew?" The two Aurors recalled Peter's identity as a Death Eater and realised the gravity of the situation.
Sirius, on the other hand, was confused. He was worried when the Aurors questioned the Dementors, but the Aurors came to the same conclusion.
Dementors, however, were often synonymous with chaos, and Sirius wasn't surprised when he found out about it.
He was about to be cleared of all suspicion, so there was no need to save him. The only person he could save was Peter.
The Aurors had the same thought, so they did not doubt Ivan's words and turned their attention to the unconscious Peter.
One of the Aurors waved his wand and summoned a basin of water to water Peter, intending to wake him up and question him about what had happened.
Ivan and Sirius saw this and became nervous.
Ivan was unsure if his previous Memory Charm would have the desired effect,
Sirius had no idea that Peter was under the Memory Charm, and was worried that Peter would reveal Harry's presence.
Under everyone's gaze, Peter slowly woke up. However, his expression was strange and gloomy in the night. He looked around the room and sneered.
"Ignorant fool, the Dark Lord will return!"
Peter's sudden words caused the faces of the two Aurors to change, and a chill ran down their spines.
Then, they woke up violently and punched Peter in the face to wake him up…
After all, You-Know-Who had been "dead" for more than ten years and could never return!
After being punched twice, Peter's face became very blank. He looked nervously at the Aurors in front of him and muttered to himself in confusion.
'Who am I? Where am I? Why am I here?'
