"Sister," I softly call her.
"I'll go down now. You two should take a picture together." I said. I smile at my sister. I feel jealous at her for having the man I love as her husband.
"Okay." She smiled happily. Bryle approached me. He offered his hands infront of me with a wide smile on his face.
"May I?" he said.
"Dance with you?" I said and smiled fuelly. He chuckled.
"Nice try, Sam." he said smiling.
"Thanks, Bryle." I said and also chuckled as I accepted his hands. He supports me until I get off the flatform. When I got down, we just let go of each other's hands.
"Your hands were so soft." he said.
"I'll take that as a compliment. Thank you." I answered and smiled.
"Ahm... " he scratched his nape as if he embarrassed at whatever he was going to say.
"Can I get your number? I'll take you out to have a coffe during our free time?" I smiled and lend my hand.
"Phone." I said. He immediately pulled his cellphone out of his pocket and placed it in my out stretched hand. I smiled and typed my mobile number on his phone.
"Here." I said and handed it back to him, just as Adele had arrived next to me.
"Hey, what's that?" Bryle looked at us maliciously. Bryle let out a soft chuckle as he pointed Isaiah and my sister's direction.
"I have to go. Just follow me to the reception." I nodded my head and give him a tight smile.
"Okay." I answered.
"Thanks, by the way." He said as he waved his phone. I guess that thank you was for the mobile number. I mouthed 'welcome' and smiled again. Adele kissed me and narrowed her eyes.
"What was that, Sam? You just got home, yet you've been fishing." I laughed softly.
"Silly." I said.
"Let's not go to the reception anymore." she said with a frown. I grinned and put my arm around her.
"When are you going to work hard, Adele? It's already been five years since I've left but you're still lazy. You're still a bridesmaid. You should be there." I said. She rolled her eyes at me before wrapped her arm around my waist.
"I really miss you witch. That night, when you suddenly disappeared from the bar. I just heard that you're going to fly to Japan the next day. I must be sulking," she said but I just chuckled.
"Then, If you're sulking, why are you hugging me?" I asked and raised my eyebrow.
"I'm still mad with you, but I missed you so hug me first." she said while hugging me.
"Sam!" I heard Mommy call my name.
"Yes?" I broke away from Adele's hug and said goodbye to her before approaching my Mom.
"Why, Mom?" I asked.
"Here's the schedule ..." She said and handed me a small notebook.
"There's a time when cake slicing. You need to feed the bride and the groom. I didn't let your sister eat before we come here because maybe the gown won't fit he. And then, you'll still help your sister for the take off." Every word that my Mom says, I'm just giving her a nod. Really? Feed the bride and groom? Can't they just do it by themselves?
"Yes, Mom." I answered. I know, there's nothing I cant do but to face them. I need to accept the fact that he's already married now to my own sister.
"When do you plan to give us a grandson and granddaughter?" my Mom suddenly asked which surprised me.
"What?" I wonder back question.
"When are you getting married? Darling, you're already twenty-eight and you're not getting any younger. And now your sister is married. And everyone is already expecting a child from them. What about you? You don't even have a plan to introduce your boyfriend to us? I still want to see my grandchildren running around the mansion. " I smiled raw and scratched my nape.
"Mommy, of course. I just come home from abroad and that's the opening question you have? I don't have any boyfriends, Mom. And not planning to have one." I said as a matter of fact. Mommy's right eyebrow rose.
"You don't have any boyfriend? Why?" I tightened my grip on the small notebook I was holding.
"Because no one has made a mistake to me yet?" I said and laughed dryly.
"Oh, silly. .." my mommy took our distance and touched my cheek.
"You're beautiful, Sam. You can find someone for you." she said smiling.
"I don't need those, Mom. I want to focus on my work first." And Kai. I wanted to add but stop myself.
"You're already successful, darling. Take care of your love life now, my daughter. I don't want you to grow old as a young woman. Just two of you we have. You and your sisters, we wants a grandchild from you two." I didn't reply at what my Mom said. I just smiled at her and Daddy called us just in time.
I'm not that closed to my parents. I'm not a Daddy 'girl nor Mom's. I'm nobody's. I feel even closer to my sister than to them. SHe is the one I have been with at home for how many years while Mom and Dad are on the other country for business. She's all I have but not anymore because starting today, she will be with the man I love the most. She's with the father of my son.
