In a poorly lighted room, a young man and a young lady sat quietly in neon cages. They looked like they had done lots of banging on the hard cages and were tired out, the lady's hair was drenched in water dripping from the top of their neon cage and she made it fall over her face as she sobbed quietly.
The room looked had a spooky feeling and one couldn't shake off the feeling that something or someone was somewhere in the shadows, watching them.
" Cynthia, it's okay we'll find a way out of here". Thibaut said softly in his most comforting voice.
" What do you think they did to Alex?" Cynthia asked as hot liquid flowed down her face, one which was perfectly camouflaged by the poor lighting in the room.
Thibaut drew closer to her, pulled her wet hair off her face, put his index finger under her chin and raised her face and stared directly into her eyes. " Alex has a strong personality, he has the same fighting spirit you have and his power is about the strongest and most important in the entire universe. Believe in him, be strong for him, that's what he'll want from you, that's how you can help him" he consoled her whilst patting her head slowly.
Cynthia felt an awkward warmth, one she had been having whenever she had even the slightest contact with Thibaut. The thought that she was being attached to a male that easily got her disgusted at herself, as much as she loved the feeling she didn't want it, at least not now. She was now so exhausted that she could only manage a short nod as a response to Thibaut's consolation, she placed her head on Thibaut's shoulder as she passed out.
Thibaut inhaled the flowery scent of Cynthia hair, the fact that it was wet wasn't helping matters. He had been thinking about her alot lately and he always managed to dismiss the thought but now that she was sleeping on his shoulder, it felt like torture. He was trying to map out a plan that would get them out of their prison but the scent of her hair kept interfering with his thoughts.
.
Meanwhile in Cynthia's mind, Harry was pissed. The constant inflow of several emotions was making him very uncomfortable, ' why wouldn't she just stop thinking even in her sleep?' he cursed hard.
Getting back into his body was his priority and he was becoming impatient, he had planned to start the journey today whether Cynthia liked it or not but here she was, in a cage! He would have spat if he could.
' Okay sleeping beauty, it's time to work' he said aloud in her busy head, disorganizing all her thoughts and causing her to jump out of her sleep.
" Cynthia are you okay?" Thibaut asked with concern, that was not the best of ways to end a nap.
" Arrgh" Cynthia let out a loud scream and dropped sharply on her knees, her eyes were now coated in a deep silvery glow, but this time it was far more than a silvery glow, it seemed metallic and it covered every part of her eyes giving her a dangerous look. The same glow appeared on her right fist extending to her upper arm, a violent shockwave shot out and a silver gauntlet appeared over her arm.
Thibaut laid on the ground with his right hand clenching his left rib, he stared at Cynthia in awe. The shockwave that resulted from the formation of her gauntlet had gotten him pretty hard on his rib. He didn't know what to think, one minute she's asleep, the other she's being destructive. As much as he wanted to calm her down, he knew better than to go near her in her current state.
Cynthia stood still for a second as extremely pure energy surged through her body, without thinking about it, she poured as much as she could into the gauntlet making it shine so brightly it illuminated the entire room. That was when Thibaut confirmed his suspicion that something was watching them, a large red eyed black cat stood at the far end of the room. On being spotted, it ran out of its hiding spot and made a loud squeak which attracted three more even larger cats.
Every activity came to a sudden halt as Cynthia thrusted her gauntlet covered fist towards the neon bars of their cages shattering the metals to shreds. Thibaut was shocked at the destructive effect of Cynthia's blast, they had both tried to blast the cages when they woke up in them earlier but failed. How did a single blast open turn it to shreds and when did Cynthia become that powerful?
There was a quick flash of light and Cynthia was gone leaving Thibaut in the care of the wild cats, ' won't this be fun' Thibaut thought as his eyes lighted up.
Chanting a few spells, his rib injury healed up. He got into a stance, ready for his first big fight in a long while.

Alex appeared inside Elder Julius' room in a very downcast mood Just as he assumed his full form, he met the principal of the school seriously scolding Elder Julius. His entrance immediately drew the attention of the two men, they both turned towards him and how those two pairs of eyes scared him. Feeling very little under their strong gazes, Alex greeted them both very quickly.
" Julius, I knew you were behind the boy's disappearance. That talisman is only meant for elders of the school", with a wave of his hand, the talisman floated back to Elder Julius " The next time this happens, I'll be forced to confiscate your talisman and you'll have to undergo the jungle test to retrieve it. Now young man" he said pointing towards Alex " follow me" he said authoritatively.
" Where exactly are we going sir?" Alex asked the principal feeling very nervous.
" To the detention zone, to get your punishment for leaving the premises" the principal replied without looking back at him.
They walked past the ever busy lobby in silence, Alex felt disgusted by the several different looks he got from students as he walked solemnly behind the principal. They knew what it meant for the principal to walk someone down the lobby, he was either in really big trouble or he had done something really nice and was going to get a reward from the school board but from the principal's face, every Tom, Dick, and Harry could easily tell it was the former.
They got to a large metallic door which had a label ' DETENTION' and the principal stopped, he placed his thumb on a fingerprint sensor and after a beep, the door croaked lowly and slid open. " In" the principal said with a cold voice and locked the door behind him.
On getting in, he was faced with a large hall painted all white. Everything about the hall had at least a touch of white giving it a bright look, there were high shelves at all ends. Several shelves were closely packed together at all ends that if an average sized man hid in between them, he would be completely invisible.
When he got inside the hall, he saw a lady with a silvery white hair reading a seemingly old book. ' Isn't that book too close to her eyes?' He asked himself whilst trying to take a closer look at her. In no time, he was standing next to her table " uhm excuse me, isn't that book too close to your face he asked" trying as much as he could to sound concerned.
The lady raised her head up revealing her face fully to Alex. Alex stared at her in disbelief, there was no way he would forget those silvery eyes, the shiny white skin, it was the lady he fought with on his first day in the school.
" You're here already new guy. Finally found someone who made it here quicker." she said ignoring his question.
" You were brought here on your first day?" Alex asked as he pulled out the second seat of the dinette set and sank into the very comfortable seat.
" Yes, I beat an instructor, why are you here by the way" she asked staring shyly from under her long lashes. Alex almost laughed at how her cheeks had a pink tint when she reported herself to him.
" I left the premises" he replied in a low voice, " I'm sorry about how we first met, I didn't mean to..." " it's okay, we both had faults that day" Cynthia cut in, mustering the warmest smile she could. Alex returned the smile and asked " Soo, what's your name?"
" I'm Bianca, you?" she replied not looking up and trying as much as possible to avoid eye contact with him
" I'm Alex, nice to meet you. So why was the book so close to your face?" Alex asked with squinted eyes as the atmosphere around them lightened up a whole lot. " To make the supervisor think I'm reading, you should also probably find yourself a book and just put over your face before she comes over. Trust me you don't want to see her." Bianca whispered to Alex who responded by walking up to a nearby shelf and picking up a dusty old novel which had the title boldly inscribed in gold 'CHAOS', it was about an evil demon who once lived. He returned to his seat and borrowed Bianca's method of fake reading. " where is the supervisor exactly?" he whispered to Bianca, she gave a creepy smile before mustering her most creepy voice " somewhere inside the shelves".

Meanwhile, in a fancy looking office, a fairly advanced man with a mostly bald hair was sitting on his comfty office chair drinking coffee. He swirled his chair as an accomplished smiled grew slowly over his face, he had just gotten the perfect job to ensure his family didn't suffer anymore.
He heard a sound behind him. As he turned, a shiny blade cleanly went through his neck and his head dropped on his desk spilling red liquid all over the paperwork he was working on. A blue flame was seen to inscribe ' cleansed' on to his neck.
" This is just the beginning" a feminine voice said amidst maniacal laughter.
