"What's this?" Danag asked Corbin as he stood in front of him. They were in a walkway in the right section of the castle, and the young vampire suddenly appeared in front of him as though he had been waiting for him.
"Can you please look at the contents?" he asked as he stretched a letter toward Danag.
"It's best you give this to Lord Erick. He takes care of letters that come and leave the castle." The words were barely out of his lips when he started walking again, but Corbin cut into his path once more.
"I can't give this to Lord Erick. I-I need your help."
Danag squinted his eyes. "Erick would do a better job with this." It wasn't that he didn't want to help, but for the past few nights, things had turned upside down. They discovered the Primus's mate could literally set Palers ablaze and turn them to ashes, but that wasn't what had him in shambles. Rather, it was the fact that Damon had quit.
