Waking up in a messy hair, in a hotel room, he could not help but wonder how he spent the night there. He reached out for his phone, planning to call his home boys. Unfortunately, his phone was dead. He found this very strange, passing out, not even recalling his own very memory!
He made his way to the receptionist passing through the Hall way, then to the elevator room and down to the receptionist.
"Good morning, and how can I help you?". An American woman asked. She looked like she was in her late thirties but Adrian found her beautiful and stunning.
"I'm Adrian by name, room 035", he began... He bent his head closer to her and asked in whisper, "who checked me in last night?"
She stared at him amused. Maybe, suspicious?
"I'd go through it and get back to you and..."
"No" he said tensed. She was taken aback by his response, "No, I mean... Urgh", he sighed in frustration.
"I mean can you do it now? Like right now? I'm afraid it is urgent", he found the words.
"Okay okay", she said, looking at him and getting the hotel's journal, trying to figure.
"A young lady..." She had begun, snapping him back from his endless spiral of over thinking.
"A young lady checked you in last night, I can't recall her identity, any of it" she put it back. "As a matter of fact, she was in a hurry after clearing the bills".
"Wtf" he whispered, rather, loudly.
"Is there a problem with that? She said she was a close friend and she looked really worried".
"I think that's all... Hold on. Can you just say a little of what she looks like?", Adrian asked, getting out his wallet.
"I think she has a long blonde hair, modelling figure, 5'7 maybe. I can't say much, I'm sorry".
"Er, okay. Thank you so much, I will take my leave now", Adrian said. Although, the information was by no means useful to him. He left the hotel and flagged down a cab as he couldn't reach out to his driver.
...
He arrived home safely and got inside. "Good morning sir", his domestic servants greeted in unison as they took a bow.
"Hmm, morning. Hope y'all had a great night", Adrian responded without pulling to a halt.
He heard them murmuring their replies and simply nodded. At the middle of the stairs, he halted. "Regan, prepare to drop me off at work", he said and hastily walked up to his room. He had gotten a new driver after the incident at the court.
On getting to his door, he realized he didn't have the keys. "Nelly?", he yelled out.
"Yes sir?", she jogged up the stairs with the keys in her hand, missing some steps.
"Hand over the keys". She placed the keys in his hands and turned to leave his presence.
He inserted the key and turned the keyhole open. "My breathe stinks, yikes!", he cried out and sniffed his armpit. "...and my body, almost that of a dead rat". He walked in and shut the door, ripping himself off his clothes. Then, he threw them into his laundry basket.
He helped himself to a good shower, it was all he needed to get rid of the oozing smell. He came out of the bathtub with a different aura, his skin appearing smooth and fresh. "Much better", he chuckled at himself.
He dried his hair and got dressed in a skyblue shirt and royal blue pair of suit. He packed his briefcase and carried his power bank alongside with his phone. He was fully prepared for work.
