Martha was shocked to see Mr Maxwell. So this was what he meant by we will meet again. He was basically the one who replaced Lucy at the last minute.
But why?? How did he even know Lucy? Wasn't Star Corporation on the brink of getting bankrupt, so how did he make such a comeback with a higher company backing him and in less than 5 years at that.
Then she remembered there was an anonymous at that time that bought the highest shares. It was believed that this mysterious person was a professional when it comes to business tactics so he was able to safe Star Corporation around 5 years ago.

Mr Maxwell's comeback...Star Corporation's rise...
Could it be that it was Lucy who bought the company back then...but what is the relationship between the two??
"Martha are you okay??" Her secretary lightly tapped her after she received no response from Martha after calling her name several times.
"I..I'm fine...let's begin" she said before taking a deep breath and started her presentation.
Beauty Corporation have been doing well over the years. They have one of the best marketing strategist and very good promotion department. Basically all of their product are cleared immediately they are produced and this has led to the constant increase in their profit over the years.
They decided to work with Lucious company because they are far more experienced and have been in the market for a very long time. They have shares in most of the richest companies including Jones Corporation.
Martha was composed during the meeting and always carried that professionalism with her every action. From the way she talked to her expression and how composed she remained when difficult questions where thrown at her she maintained her composure and handled things perfectly.
Mr Maxwell tried to make things difficult by bringing up some of their failed projects as an excuse to not collaborate,but Martha answered all of his wicked questions like she had memorised the answers for a very long time.
The representatives from Lucious especially the other two men where very impressed with the growth of Beauty but Mr Maxwell would always bring up a reason not to go ahead.
At the end of the meeting, the Lucious happily signed the contract and wished each other a successful collaboration before exiting Beauty.
Drake who has been watching the drama between Martha and Mr Maxwell could not help but heave a sigh of relieve after they left.
"Martha...that old dude sure has a lot of grievances with you" Drake said playfully. "Hmm" Martha replied before she left for her office. Drake really didn't know much about Mr Maxwell and his appearance was a mystery to some so he didn't realise it was Mr Maxwell who was causing trouble.
"Bro.you where really harsh back there huh.." one of the representatives of Lucious said to Mr Maxwell while they were o their way to the hotel.
He is Mr Maxwell friend for several years, Drew. Drew has been by Mr Maxwell's side for a very long time and was also the old man who knew Mr Maxwell's real motive for coming to Country S.
"She deserves to suffer..." Mr Maxwell said. He Still couldn't forget how coldly Martha rejected him back then when he was in desperate need of help. But does he really deserve sympathy for all he did to her??
Mr Maxwell then remembered his daughter who he met yesterday. She was a replica of her Mom in every aspect down to her long and beautiful legs. She was so beautiful that the first image that came to his mind was of the first time he saw Martha. Though she was still very young, her beautiful can't be underrated.

He was guilt ridden when he saw her yesterday but that didn't hide the love he had when he looked at her. He had 3 daughters before Monica which he coldheartedly disowned but when it comes to Monica, there was this voice in his heart that can't bear to hate her.
'My daughter...you must come back to me no matter the cost. Though I rejected you before, I still have every right to take you back' he thought to himself. He let out an evil grin when he imagined Martha's expression when she no longer had her daughter.
Later in the day...
Max who has been anxiously waiting for the close of school rushed out like his house was on fire. Immediately the bell was rung, Max dashed out of school and he rode to the park close to Monica's House.
He called Monica when he arrived and she answered immediately as she also was contemplating whether to call him.
"Hello Monica...could you come out for a bit..." Max asked after the call was connected.
"Okay...where should I meet you" Monica asked as she jumped out of her bed to get changed.
"Come to the park close to your house" Max said and hung up after he was sure Monica heard him.
Monica didn't even waste a single second as she ran to the park in less than 10 minutes. She saw Max waiting at a bench and jugged over when she steadied her breathing.
