There was a loud scream in the mansion and I quickly stepped out of the room to check what was happening.
I ran through the hallways, walking down the grandstairs to the lounge where the scream came from. Carie and Lukas where on one of their many episodes, hugging and kissing each other in the lounge admist the maids and butler who watched them.
My cheeks flushed immediately, it reminded me of the time Alex kissed me before Arnold and his maids and even Carie. I would have hated what they were doing or screamed at them before, but I shook my head and headed back to the room.
Carie was not joking when she said she owned him. For him to fly all the way from London to New York to appease his angry girlfriend says a lot about their relationship. I smiled wishing it was I and Alex. But I'd be damned if that happens.
Hell why am I even imagining that?
