"Are you the new guard Alex sent to lock me up again? Go tell him I'm never forgiving him no matter what!" Even if it's been hours since everything happened, the thought of Alex brought back the excruciating pain in my heart again. Here I was thinking the pain had subsided, it hasn't. It only got chronic, depleting me with each passing seconds.
I cluntched unto my chest tightly as I sobbed burying my face in my knee. "Please tell him to leave me alone, I'm tired of crying every hour!" I cleaned my tears with the back of my hands as I got off the bed. "Who's this Alex that has cost you so much pain Hazel?" He stared at me with a serious expression.
"Who are you?" I found myself asking. It was weird this unknown man was trying to be nice to me. I've been stupid to always fall for this trick since I was a kid. Life has taught me it's lessons in the hardest way there is. I will never fall for his kindness ever again.
