Chapter 16 - Chapter Fifteen

A soul mate isn't everybody you love throughout your life. A soul mate is somebody who walks into your life and teaches you a love you never felt. It's a connection your heart can't deny. A force that's unbreakable... Moonsoulchild

Ifeoma offered to do the cooking today but trust aunty Nina to act like a mother hen. She refused her offer blatantly without batting an eye.

Obi might not realise it yet but aunty Nina knew he cared for Ifeoma. His feelings for Ifeoma might not have a name yet but she was sure there was some sort of emotions already growing inside of him and it wouldn't take time before it sprouts out. All she need do was wait.

"I'm pregnant not invalid or sick" Ifeoma sucked.

"I don't want my head on a platter; your husband was very clear on his instructions; you only have to eat right and rest."

Ifeoma felt her face redden when aunty Nina referred to Obi as her husband. It just felt good to hear someone say that to her. "Husband" she repeated in her mind. Subconsciously a smile lit her face. Aunty Nina chuckled.

"Have I said anything funny?"

"Why?" Ifeoma asked confused.

"Because you're smiling."

Out of reflex Ifeoma touched her lips as if to check if she was really smiling perhaps touch her smiling mouth. She didn't even know she was smiling; she also wondered why she would.

The reference to Obi made her remember her encounter with him by the pool.

She had gone to the pool to relax her tense muscles; as she played and flicked her feet in the sea blue round pool; she felt a presence. Almost scared she turned her face to confirm her fears when her eyes collided with Obi's.

If she didn't know better she would have sworn Obi was stealing a glance at her body but this was reality and this was Obi and in reality her body seemed not too appealing to him; plus she was pregnant; pregnant women looked cranky she thought. He was Obi the the revered billionaire whose presence alone was almost equal to that of a god.

She has met alot of men in her life; alot of handsome men but none of them stood a chance with him. He was six feat tall or more, his broad shoulders hung on his body so majestically like the sun god himself. His slightly pointed nose made him look like an Arabian prince or maybe an Indian prince. He grow neatly trimmed beards that spread across his chocolate face. His eyes balls where a shade of black and blown but were neither the both and his eyes as white as snow.

Obi could be said to be beautiful,no, he was beautiful in a manly way. Nothing about him suggests any feminine attribute especially the regal way he carries himself. His physical appearance compels respect and admiration. He didn't need to do a thing, rise an arm or say a word; his charisma did it all.

The thought of it made Ifeoma feel lucky and unworthy to have him or to be more accurate: to be married to him; since she has never had him. For the first time she felt jealous of Lucy. She had had this walking god and he had adored her even more.

"Are you done admiring me?"

Ifeoma was snapped back to reality. She didn't even notice when he had come dangerously near.

"You must think so high of yourself... You scared me" she said trying her best to hide her true feelings and the embarrassment she felt.

Obi was clad in nothing but a white bath robe and she was clad in a golden lingerie. The sudden realisation of that made her feel jittery; she was too shy to stand up and get her rope. She was caught between the devil and the blue sea.

"You shouldn't be scared; I just came to swim; didn't know I would find you here. Besides, it's my house too and it's well guarded. It might not be very visible but trust me the security here is top notch..." He said smirking.

He took a glance at her body and snorted. She looked appealing in gold.

"You look good in a gold lingerie" he said as he drew nearer."

Ifeoma felt her heart pumping as thou it would come jumping out of her body, at the same time she felt her face redden. She could swear it was already as red as beet. She tried using her hands to cover her body but Obi stopped her.

"What are you doing?" She asked frightened as Obi came closer and nearer.

Soon, their body kissed each other as they where already seated beside each other in a close-up proximity.

Ifeoma felt as thou the water in the pool turned hot or was she the one just feeling hot... She couldn't comprehend her feelings but one thing she was sure; she felt werid.

"Admiring my wife... Besides you don't need to cover anything... Moreover I've already seen you; I want to have a taste..."

Still confused on what to say she felt something wet and familiar touch her lips. Obi was kissing her; he was really kissing her again. How she missed those lips. He invited her tongue inside his mouth; he tasted like kiwi maybe that was the last thing he took before now; before her lips.

The two were so lost in each others taste and embrace that nothing else mattered. They felt like the only beings on earth; like they existed solely for each other. They savoured the moment; they felt the bells of pleasure reverberate through them; soul and body.

Soon Ifeoma felt Obi's fingers touch her in her down region; she was lost in the land of ecstasy. She was almost at the peak when she felt him withdraw. She almost shouted at him to not stop until she realised why he was forced to.

It was one of the maids; Ifeoma swore within her breath. She didn't know the name of the maid or seen her before but she felt a pang of hate towards her. The timing couldn't be more worse. She had heard of men having blue balls; today she understood how frustrating it could be especially as she was few minutes away from making a release. She felt undone and wanting.

Again, she hated the idea of having numerous maids; they could be nosy.

Aunty Nina stood watching Ifeoma as she closed her eyes and mind in a world of her own and she wondered what could be so exciting to make her beam like that. She would have left her to day dream all day long if not for the persistent ringing of her phone.

"Ma! Ma!" She called loudly to have Ifeoma jaunt back to earth.

"Wh-at?" Ifeoma starmmed. She hated it when aunty Nina called her 'ma'; she already told her several times not to but the woman would just not listen to her.

"Your phone" she gestured to Ifeoma's phone laying lazily on the mini dinning table at the centre of their enormous kitchen.

Obi couldn't concentrate on the documents heaped on his table. He didn't understand why he's being thinking about his wife Ifeoma. He smiled to himself as he realised he just called her 'wife' which he happened to call her these days in his mind and even before her presence.

He had tried to ignore his feelings and even intentionally made sure he dodged Ifeoma after the blue ball saga. He didn't know why but he just did it. Most baffling was he resorted to stealing glances in secret of her; his wife.

He knew it's was petty and it scared the hell out of him. He wasn't like that towards anyone not even Lucy. Yet he was certain he still and would always love Lucy.

He did the most crazy thing when he came back from work the other day; asked aunty Nina about Ifeoma and was told she was at the pool. It was like a magnetic force made him change his clothes and changed to his white bath rope.

He had dreaded a close-up with Ifeoma yet he missed their intimacy the last time. The truth; he didn't trust himself to behave around her and it frustrated the hell out of him. When it came to self control; he was a guru or so he thought, he wasn't sure of himself anymore.

After he tasted her, it unnerved him; he wanted her in every way a man would want a woman and it terrified him.

He felt he was betraying Lucy; betraying everything they shared, betraying her memories. He didn't want to be that man; he cherished every single moment they shared and spent together. He didn't want a tint on them.

Yet to his surprise and alter shock he had gone to the pool. He didn't even know what he wanted to do or why he was going over. One thing he had being sure: his hormones craved Ifeoma, they wanted a close-up; he decided to indulge them; he surrendered to them.

"God she looked like a goddess in that golden lingerie" he remembered himself say subconsciously. Especially, as she flapped her legs inside the water. He was awe struck. In fact and in truth; he felt paralysed.

He stood there transfixed; staring, admiring; his wife. And when their eyes collided he felt every single shred of control instantly disappear.

As if compelled by a force he found himself totally smitten...

He's chain of thought was broken when he received a call from his people.

"She's currently with him... I've sent a pictures to your email" the person at the other end said.

Obi was agitated; he saw only red. "Why!" He shouted; he flipped off. He could feel is adrenaline take over his rationality. He banged the table so hard that some documents came flying away scattering on the white tiled floor.

He dailed Ifeoma's number multiple times but she didn't pick up. He was beyond aggravated; he was almost at the edge of going berserk.

"Where are you!" He shouted when she eventually picked.

"Out"

"With?"

"Noone" Ifeoma lied.

Obi saw red. She just lied to him. Something she's never done.

"Blood is definitely going to flow today most definitely wouldn't be mine" he said in rage as he stormed out of his office caring less about the meeting he had in an hour.
