It had been quite a few weeks since I'd fallen, only to arise at an earlier time.I'd seen my friend ripped apart before my eyes. To then die myself. A harrowing experience.
Yet I yearned to learn more.
Awoken from within me, a Singularity named [Aspect of the Epoch]. If my assumptions were true. This power of mine had somehow turned back the clock. It had bent fate, manipulated 4D space. An affront to the ever marching flow of time.Fighting the Mafia for a second time round, I'd enlisted the help of my unfairly overpowered acquaintance.Travis Haber, a simple farm boy. Strong, protected by fate. As if he'd been blessed by an eternal Saint.

Days passed as I failed to figure out how my power worked.
In the end I reached my last straw. I jumped off a bridge, to truly test if I could come back to life
But now. In this place. There was no time. No space. No matter.
A place beyond. I was not alone
"H-How did I get here?" I asked, my voice echoing through the void.
"We are in a place beyond time"
The voice startled me. Turning around, I beheld the most beautiful sight.
Mauve, glossy hair, golden eyes dancing with exalted radiance. The visage of an angel. A simple white robe clung to her feminine form
The girl in front of me was the spitting image of what I'd associate with a friend She felt close, yet unfamiliar.
"You shouldn't be here."
She spoke, in a monotone voice. Lacking all emotion.
I then smiled, in a sorrowful way.
"I know."
The two of us were now in a vast, empty space.
A plane without end.
"This is the place between time and space. I am the arbiter of said space." She spoke, in a deadpan voice.
I stared at the girl, with a perplexed look. What on neo-terra was she talking about?
"You should go back…" she said, a glowing light filling the previously empty void, like the creation myth back on old earth.
"Wait- I need to learn more-"

My vision slowly returned. Familiar objects dotting my surroundings. Checking my InfoComm, it was the day I'd killed myself, in the name of science.
It had worked.
