Most students are present at this point. I glance through the hall dungeon looking for Peters figure. Majority of the students present have already chosen their weapons and forming alliances. That's right you can form and ancestry with people! The members of the alliance will work together to defeated monsters, they can work separatelt as well. At the end of the exam their scores will be divided by the number of students in the alliances. Obviously I will try to join it make an alliance because of my weak stats. It would also be favorable to me if I get a long range attack who is considerably weak so I can get the final hit thus gaining exp. Fortunately, Peter meets all the requirements! I should go look for him before he forms an alliance with someone else.
I scan the room for Peter and I finally see him.
"Hey Peter!"
I shouted over to him. The boy turned around quickly upon hearing his name.
Peter's eyes widened when he saw who it was "Oh, uh hey!" He said back nervously.
"Do you want to form an alliance?" O asked him trying to maintain a welcoming smile.
[+5 trust]
"Ah yes of course." He replied back, a slightly red face coming across his features.
The way things are going I should be able to gain his trust back to 40% after the first part of the exam is over.
I head over to one of the teachers to register the alliance between I and Peter.

It's finally time for the first part of the exam. All students are given a watch which will let them keep track on how many beasts they killed and their individual or group score.
The watch will also let us enter and exit the dungeon as we please yet if an individual or any member of an alliance leaves the dungeon the individual or the whole group will be eliminated and sent home. Thus, people only make alliances with people whom they trust.
I confirm with Peter and we both press the buttons at the side of our watches.
We are teleported inside the dungeon. All Dungeons used in this exam are F rated dungeon so it shouldn't be life threatening.
The dungeon is big, about five or ten metres wide and almost forty-nine meters high. There is a large amount of trees scattered throughout the space. The walls consist of dirt brick or cement bricks. The ground is covered by various vegetation, vines, creepers and other plants which grow on the walls.
The air smells a bit musty from the thick layers of dust in the air. However, there isn't any wind nor sounds of any insects either. Just silence. Not only is this quiet in here. It's also creepy.
I and Peter walk down the pathway leading to the end of the dungeon and through what looks to be a hallway. The path itself is fairly wide and the walls on either side of the pathway are completely lined with torches placed every 20 meter or so.
As we walk we encounter our first beast.
'Beast scan'

Name: Xemat
Specie: Acrees
Rank: F
Weakness: It's throat
If it's in the brink of death it releases a loud cry which will draw other beasts of the same specie to the area.

How annoying. If you kill it, it will just attract more beasts but in our case we're at an advantage as we will be able to kill off more creatures without wondering around too much.
Peter's already picked an arrow to shoot at the creature. He pulls out the arrow and aims towards the creature. As soon as the arrows hit the monster it lets loose another painful noise, making the ground tremble beneath our feet.
The arrow flew straight towards the creature and once it hits it the arrow explodes leaving nothing more than a hole in its chest where the arrow came from. This made the monster screech in pain and fall backwards onto the floor. Its still alive. I run towards the beast. While doing so I extend my spear and stab it in it's throat killing it instantly.

"Good job." Said Peter looking satisfied at me.
"You didn't really need my assistance though." I responded.
[+5 trust]
"But you came so quickly."
Peter says, he's most likely not aware that there is a horde of beasts coming towards us.
"Peter!" I shout acting as if I just realised.
He finally takes notice of the horde and starts aiming and shooting at them.
The horde is not very fast as most of them have been shot by peter, it's probably just a couple of monsters which don't have a lot of HP.
I grab onto my spear and Sprint towards
the horde of beasts. It's my first time wielding a spear. Despite having such a huge disadvantage in melee combat, I am able to move pretty smoothly. With ease, I can easily weave between the hordes of beasts, stabbing the nearest ones I come across. I even manage to avoid getting stabbed by the claws of another beast.
