~Shepherd~
I woke up to a loud bark from Micah. She kept barking, and barking, the more I ignored her, the more aggressive her sounds got. What has her acting like this? I rolled out from my bed, stretching my body as the cramped space didn't soothe my nerves. I bottled most of my annoyance at the dog and went over to Noelle's bed. My fingers froze from tapping the duvet, it was clear that she wasn't there. Her smell was fressh, she must not have been gone for too long.
Micah's barking was soon joined by a heavy pounding of the door. This startled my brothers awake, while I stood frozen by Noelle's bed.
Something wasn't right. She was awfully ill last night, how could she have gotten up on her own and left? I couldn't find a spot in my bones to believe that was the case, and my alarm bells were off the reals.
