I slept after a while of talking to Noelle. I like that we're okay now. The hostility is gone. I can see she's trying not to say something snappy at me. And that's alright. I like her sass and all. She's not nice, and she's okay with that but she's trying for my sake. I stared ahead, I'd fallen asleep in the living room. So had Noelle. Except, now she was on the floor on Shepherd's chest. His tail swished back and forth. He was awake and I could tell.
He softly brushed Noelle's hair, his body was lax as he got comfort from being next to her.
I wish to have that. Not him, no, I'm trying not to think that way. And besides, he's scary. I would much rather have someone less scary. Maybe I'll find that person someday.
In this world of the dead. I almost laughed at myself. But I'm used to self deprecating thoughts so I refused to entertain them.
