Silence settled as the cold winds passed by.
The little boy was entirely focused on his dumpling, and Aesther watched him dumbfounded. A few minutes later, she asked.

He blinked his eyes innocently, "Dragomier…"
Aesther's face became dark as she quietly looked away.
The little boy softly laughed, taking the last bite of the dumpling. It was as if sunlight and springs were woven in his soft caring voice.
"You seem very troubled, Big Sister. Just wait here, I will be back!"
Her face became even darker as he left.
"What a bunch of bullshit…" Aesther quietly murmured, "Realistic illusion, my ass! No way he—"
Her words trailed off when she remembered his warm smile. The moment she first saw him, Aesther remembered Ezrahl. They simply shared such a striking resemblance.
But the way he appeared so kind and concerned…
