Helena positioned herself behind a potted plant near the VIP elevator. Her restless almond eyes looked around for any disturbance. The hallway was empty and seeing that Leander didn't mind that place, she let out a sigh.
"Have you thought about what I asked of you, Leo?" Helena tried to get a hold of his lapel but Leander took a step back.
"Why didn't you leave when you saw my wife earlier?" Leander asked. He didn't bother to answer her question.
Helena was shocked. "Leo, I~"
"It's Mr. Kastello for you, Mrs. Palatini. Do not think you are in any way superior to~"
"Everyone knows, Leo," Helena interjected him. "Everyone knows of our meetings in the hotel. If everyone knows, then my husband knows too and~"
"You weren't thinking of the consequences when you begged to meet me and sent me all those texts?" Leander scoffed. "How stupid of you!"
