Viviana looked up sensing the warm hand on her head. Although he donned a serious expression, she saw the kindness in his eyes.
"Why are you crying then, sweetie, if you love him?" he asked.
Viviana gulped.
"When you said you married Leander, I thought you did so with bad intentions…" Father Patrick caressed her hair so gently.
Viviana was stunned.
"You're not angry at me for falling in love with a Kastello?" she asked.
She didn't expect Father Patrick would be this indifferent to that important detail. It appears the anger she felt from him earlier was because he thought she might have married Leander Kastello for revenge.
"From what you told me, he is kind to you and loves you. If he chose to marry you, and you fell in love with him, isn't that good? Why are you crying?" Father Patrick asked.
"He is kind to me," Viviana said. That is an undeniable fact.
