Leander's hand shook hearing the gut-wrenching sobs of Viviana. He didn't think that this topic brings her this much pain.
He held her chin and kissed her. He couldn't bear to see her cry. He wanted to stop her from crying.
"Her loss," Leander kissed her more. "It was her loss to lose someone filled with love like you. And my gain…"
He kissed her until she calmed down. Viviana smiled wiping her eyes. "Do you mean it?" she asked leaning on his chest.

"Absolutely," Leander rubbed her back. "I wish you could see yourself the way I see you," he brushed aside the hair falling on her face.
"The way you see me…?" Viviana repeated his words. They were beautiful.
His eyes twinkled as he nodded. She reached her hand to his cheek. Those eyes… "What do you see in me?" she asked. She certainly is not special in any definition of the word.
