Clara hissed with her hands holding her belly. Jasper, who looked forward, now turned his head with an anxious look. His hand also touched Clara's belly.
"Are you okay?" he asked.
The woman nodded. "Just a little tight," she replied.
He looked at the front street which was being closed and surrounded by many people including the police. One of the policemen approached their car and greeted Jasper. The man immediately opened the car window and retorted him.
"We apologize in advance because you can't get through this line right now," the policeman said. "You can go through the alternative route that has been provided, Sir."
Jasper nodded, then thanked the policeman before closing the car window glass. He looked back at Clara and rubbed his wife's belly gently. A peck landed sweetly there.
"This time, Papa will be carefuly," he said, then looked up and found Clara smiling at him.

Their car stopped in a hospital parking. Jasper got off first, then opened the car door beside Clara so his wife could get out. Clara's eyes circulated and found a crowd on one side of the hospital. Jasper co-directed his eyes in the same direction.
"The victim of the accident was probably," he said. He tightened his arms around Clara's waist and led the wife into the hospital.
A tool appeared to run gently over Clara's visibly enlarged surface to reveal a 3D image. Clara and Jasper got the 5th line after getting into the hospital at the obstetrician's section earlier and it didn't take long to line up. Until finally, they meet Hendrick, the obstetrician who handled Clara's pregnancy as well as Jasper's close friend. The man was moving the detection device in Clara's abdomen now. His eyes looked in the direction of the monitor.
"You see, his good looks have been seen since being in the womb!" he joked, making Jasper and Clara chuckle. "Everything looks healthy, nothing less."
Clara looked towards the monitor where a baby face was so clearly visible there. Sometimes it was moving and sometimes it was still, making Clara resounding and wanting to get him right away. She saw Jasper very enthusiastic. Since just now, his eyes have not been separated from the monitoring screen in front of there.
"Jasper," Hendrick called until the man—and Clara—turned their head. "Did you really perform that ritual?" he asked.
Jasper looked at Clara for a moment, then nodded. "This ritual is not just a matter of blood and soul, but also maintaining the stability of our strength," said the man.
Hendrick nodded, then finished his examination. He knew if Jasper and Clara were performing a ritual that did sound a bit strange in his opinion. He knew if the Jasper family was the strongest of the Werewolfs and allowed them to preserve offspring and keep her race power, but he wasn't sure if Clara could bear it all alone. Clara is just a human soul that changes dimensions due to an accident and Hendrick doubts if the woman can perform their rituals, while she does not know what the condition of her physical body is in the human world.
Hendrick sighed and looked back straight at Jasper. "Pregnancies between Werewolf and humans usually range from 2-3 months only. Very quickly," he said, being struck with a nod by the husband and wife. "It takes a lot of energy during pregnancy and maybe you'll be exhausted a lot, Clara."
Clara nodded. She was so enthusiastic about her pregnancy and listened to Hendrick's explanation from earlier.
"I want you to be by Clara's side until the day of birth comes," Hendrick said. "Don't even leave even if it's an unimportant thing once."
Jasper took a sip of saliva. "Why?" he interrupted.
"I know about the Black Witcher. Their movements are increasingly blind to this day. This morning, I saw the news of a back-to-back accident on the toll road heading here," said the doctor.
Jasper frowned. He fixed his sitting position and looked at Hendrick intently. No different from him, Clara, who was still lying on the bed, looked at Hendrick. The two remembered the accident they saw when they were heading to the hospital just now.
"Was the accident because of their actions?" asked Jasper.
Hendrick nodded. "Such a temporary conjecture," he replied. "But, the police don't have enough evidence to convince the public. The CCTV installed there suddenly just disappeared."
"What?" Jasper and Clara shrugs in unison. They looked at each other.
"I'm just reminding you," Hendrick said. "It could be that the Black Witcher is looking for you at this time."
Jasper took a sip of saliva. He nodded. "I get it," he said.
"Make sure to always have your pregnancy checked here or ...." Hendrick hung his remarks. "If the situation is not possible, call me to get me to your house."
Jasper and Clara looked at each other, then smiled and nodded to the doctor. "Thank you, Hendrick."

Moments later, Jasper and Clara headed for the hospital canteen to eat there. Clara had been complaining of hunger since they walked out of Hendrick's room just now. In fact, Jasper wanted to take her home because he was anxious about the current conditions. If indeed what Hendrick said was true, then the existence of Clara and the baby would be very dangerous. Jasper had to start overprotectively guarding and protecting his little family.
Clara gobbled up the steak in front of her, then looked at the husband. Jasper had since looked in the other direction where people passed by outside the canteen. The woman put down the knife, then patted Jasper's arm until the man turned to her.
"You're not hungry?" she asked.
Jasper took a sip of saliva, then nodded. He started cutting the steak in front of him and gobbled it up for a moment. Occasionally his gaze circulated, watching around.
"They're so dangerous, huh?" asked Clara.
The man nodded. "Actually, they are dangerous to Immortals. You know that since a long time ago people have always had the ambition to master whatever they can achieve," he said occasionally bribing cuts of steak into their mouths. "If they can already break through the dimensional boundary with the portal of the magic they created, it will be very dangerous for the Immortal. The existence of Immortals will be threatened by exploitation and—"
"But, I'm also human, Jasper," Clara interrupted.
"I know, but you're different from them, Clara," Jasper retorted. One hand touched his wife's hand and rubbed it lightly. "We met and got to know each other before you finally moved here. Your move was sudden and it was a miracle. It's not like those who do move because of their ambitions and actions."
Clara paused, then nodded. She looked at Jasper. "Aren't you going to leave again after this?"
Jasper shook his head. "I promise I will always beside you. If it matters, then I'll take you wherever I go," he said confidently.
The woman in front of Jasper chuckled lightly. "You're getting more and more overportive, huh?"
Jasper smiled chimed in. "Of course. To whom else am I like this to than you?"
Clara shook her head. She laughed amusedly at the attitude of Jasper now. Every now and then she saw the man finish off the steak strips, realizing that their marriage had been going on for about five months.
The two performed the wedding two days when Clara's soul moved because of the accident. Clara sputtered. Until now, she didn't know what the condition of her physical body was. Whether really dead or still alive. If she is dead, there is no way she is here now, right?
