When she arrived at the hotel, Diamond spotted Lady Aumbrey waiting for her in the lobby.
Lady Aumbrey was dressed beautifully in an emerald green gown and a black fur coat.
Seeing that fur coat, she was reminded that the other owed her a milky fur coat. Was she going to part with it or she was just pulling her leg?
"There you are, darling!" Lady Aumbrey called out with a smile, walking towards her as if they were friends who had known each other for centuries.
Diamond returned the smile. She couldn't let the other down, could she?
"You look amazing!" Diamond praised as soon as the two of them were hugging.
And as they parted, Lady Aumbrey's eyes sized her from head to toe with a smile before responding, "And so do you!"
Diamond really loved being complimented, so she beamed at the other once she heard that.
"It's nice seeing you again, you know?" Diamond sincerely said.
