Diamond no longer tended to take anything from her establishment for free. Once she gets used to such practice, even embezzling from herself would become very natural. Not that she was going to do such a bizarre thing.
She just wanted to have a conscience when doing business.
Diamond bought several chickens at the market counter, shocking the customers who were waiting in line.
"Why can she buy so many at once?" one of the ladies who was told that she could only get a maximum of three chickens asked dumbfoundedly, seeing Diamond getting ten of them at once.
The lady at the counter looked politely at the customer and replied, "Ma'am, that's our boss!" a glint of pride flashed through her eyes.
The customer was stunned when she heard that.
"You mean your boss pays for what she owns?"
The lady at the counter smiled beautifully at hearing that. "Yes. She leads by example."
