When Carl saw Diamond going to the lake, he didn't think much about it. After all, Diamond loved stopping by everywhere whenever she was at the farm.
Diamond shortly arrived at the body of water that looked three-quarters full. As the water was always being constantly pumped and sent to the water tank, it was inevitable that the lake wouldn't be full.
However, with the way everything was going, if she hadn't gotten a water seed, it wouldn't take long before the water in the lake dried up. And once it did that, closing the farm would be the only solution remaining.
