Richard's tone did not faze Clarissa. She knew him at least better than others. Besides, even if he were to try to scare her, she wasn't one to readily succumb to fear. And she had something that he didn't have. So, she didn't believe that he would continue to act rudely as he was.
"Heh, I befriended her first. So be nice to me if you want to stick close to her!" Clarissa said without any fear as she looked at him with an, 'what can you do to me?' look.
Upon hearing that, Richard turned his head and faced Clarissa with a hostile gaze.
"That won't work on me, Richard. Trust me!" Clarissa didn't tremble with fear, but actually scoffed at Richard's antics. "And just like she said, if she doesn't want to be found, you won't find her. She wasn't joking about it."
Upon hearing the second part as he intentionally ignored the first part, his brows furrowed, obviously not happy with what he had just heard.
"What do you mean by that?"
