"I hope that everyone is getting along well or will do so in the future. This may be our first day at work, but we have a lot of work to do. I will brief you in detail about what we will be doing from today going onwards, and I hope that all of you will keep your mind on the game."
"I can't be considered a very rich person, so I hope that none of you will think of doing anything unnecessary. If I ever catch you embezzling funds, harassing clients, or abusing your authority, I will deal with you severely. Do you understand me?"
Diamond wasn't one to joke about this matter. Her life depended on this foundation so much, and she wasn't going to allow anyone to cause trouble for her.
"Yes, we do!" they all said, agreeing to her words.
"Good then. So, the main purpose of starting this foundation was to help those who are impoverished and those who really need help. There are a lot of well-known foundations out there and charitable people who are already doing this work, but it doesn't matter. To me, as long as one person is helped sincerely, then I am good."
"So, your job is to find needy people, kids who can't afford to pay their tuition fees, sick people who can't afford treatment, ...... or those that need emotional help. We shouldn't just concentrate on monetary needs, but consider other needs as well."
"However, we all know that the foundation is an N.G.O and it will be difficult to acquire funds, so for now we will be using the funds that I already transferred to the foundation's account. In the meantime, we will find ways to receive donations, but this can only be done when the website is up and running. I hope that everyone will think of ways of how to achieve this and let the news spread."
The meeting went on for hours and everyone forgo their breakfast worries, as work was more important than food at the moment.
They all discussed several issues, and they all noted down the notes seriously, and around one in the afternoon, the meeting ended. And everyone went for a break.
Diamond took the employees to a restaurant for some lunch and a get-together session. After lunch, everyone returned to work, and it was busy once more.
With each department dealing with its duties, Diamond wasn't idle as well. Ever since she thought of opening a charity foundation, she began to gather information on the type of people she wanted to help, and the first choice that she came up with was to help some young girls.
She wanted to reach out to the most impoverished places and help the kids there. And now she could officially do this in the name of the foundation. She didn't want the fame, she just wanted to help.
Of course, she had her own reasons, call her selfish, but what else could she do?
Diamond rested for some time and while doing so, she browsed through her DIAMOND FARM business page and uploaded the photos of the chicken in the marketplace section of the page.
When she was done, she shared this post and the link to her Ioniq accounts automatically appeared in her circle of friends.
Even her employees also saw the post and they quickly began to talk in their newly created group chat.
[I didn't think that the business was also in this business!]
[Are you saying that it's bad?]
[No, she is just awesome. She has a lot of money, and she still engages in projects like poultry. This simply shows that she is a determined person and doesn't look lowly at others.]
[Then how about we support and buy at least one? They look pretty big to me!]
[Yeah, let's buy some and support. We can also share with our circle of friends.]
Just like this, Diamond's post, which wasn't causing any noise on the business page, suddenly received more attention from another circle she didn't even think of.
Before knocking off, Diamond received orders from all ten of her employees, and she was very happy to bring their chickens the next day.
When she arrived home that evening, she was exhausted, and all she wanted was to soak her body in that huge tub of hers and get rid of the fatigue.
However, before that could be done, she received a guest she had not been thinking of.
Diamond was quite surprised to see the thrilled expression of Cecilia the second she walked into her house.
"My dear friend, why didn't you tell me about how heavenly the chickens were? Do you know how much shock I received earlier this afternoon when I tasted it? I .........…." Cecilia didn't even give Diamond a chance to respond as she kept on blabbering positively about the chicken.
Of course, Diamond accepted all the praise, as she was fully knowledgeable about how good her chickens were. She had been eating chicken daily ever since she brought them home.
Even Janet couldn't stop praising and talking about them. Some of the chickens were bought by Janet's friends, but there were many still remaining.
So Cecilia's visit on this evening was very much welcomed by her.
"I am glad that you liked it," that was all Diamond could say after the long speech.
Cecilia somehow felt guilty. She had bought those chickens back then and simply forgot about them. If it wasn't for the housekeeper who reminded her about them when she wanted to entertain her guests, she would have completely forgotten about ever buying them.
She regretted it so much, though; she should have tasted the chickens or at least kept the end of her deal, but she didn't.
"He he, do you still have more of them?" Cecilia asked, embarrassingly and anxiously.
There was so much riding on this. Who knew her friends would love the chicken so much that they harassed her for a long time because of them? If she hadn't promised to bring them some, they would have taken all her chickens and that wouldn't be too good for her.
Diamond didn't mind Cecilia's thoughts. She understood perfectly well some things and they didn't need to be forced. But since the lady was here now, she completely forgot about the past and went into business mode.
"Of course, I have them. How many do you want?" Diamond asked.
Cecilia was anxious, she wanted all the stock with her. She didn't know when the next batch would arrive, so the faster she got everything, the more advantageous she became.
