Chapter 27 - Dogskin Plaster

Su Weiguo's face darkened. He suddenly remembered that his mother's close relative had mentioned Su Yu's grandfather seemed to be a master of Chinese traditional art, and he also knew Lu Wei. He had probably made some outstanding contributions to the education industry in Qiufeng County. This was a little troublesome which made him a little frustrated. He didn't expect a poor teacher from a poor valley to have skills.

"Teacher Liu, is there no other way?" asked Su Weiguo, unwilling to give up.

Su Man's grades were good and she was guaranteed a spot in the school. The Su family was also a rich family in Feng City, so Liu Fang was in a difficult position. She thought for a few seconds and said, "How about this, President Su, there's an entrance exam for all transfer students. If she gets into Class B, I'll find a way to let her go to another class so that she won't disturb Su Man. That's all I can do."

Su Weiguo hung up the phone with a worried face. Su Man and Wang Yali were beside him. Su Man looked at her father with anticipation, "Dad, how did it go? Did our form teacher agree?"

Su Weiguo sighed and said, "Your sister can go to First High School because of her grandfather. This is the principal's decision and can't be changed. You should avoid her as much as possible in the future. She won't be able to get into Class B anyway. The school is so big so it won't be easy for you to meet her."

Class F was on the third floor, while Class A and B were on the first floor. Su Man was hoping to prevent Su Yu from entering First High School with her family's connections. So, when she heard this result, her face was filled with disappointment, but she still said, "First High School has a good environment. Even if she can only enter Class F, it'll definitely be better than being Qiufeng County."

Wang Yali's wrinkly face turned mean as she held her walking stick and said coldly, "She's such a dogskin plaster, so hard to get rid of!"

...

Su Yu woke up early the next morning. There was still a class placement test before the official transfer. After the test, she would be able to find out which class she would be in. She didn't have many things to bring, so she simply packed a few necessary things in her bag, held her phone, stuffed a piece of gum and a small pill into her mouth, and went out.

Feng City First High School was a prominent high school with a history of a hundred years. Every year, many students from this school were able to be admitted to the two top universities, Yuzhou University and Feng University.

Today was the first day of school and there was a crowd at the school gate. Many parents drove their children to school. One of the Rolls-Royce was driven by Su Weiguo. This car was very conspicuous as many people looked in their direction with curious and envious eyes. Su Weiguo was in high spirits and accepted everyone's gaze proudly.

Su Yu only took a casual glance before turning around and walking into the campus, as if the person in the car had nothing to do with her.

Su Man's eyesight was good as she immediately noticed Su Yu in the crowd. She said to Su Weiguo, "Dad, do you think that person is Sister? They look alike from the back."

Su Weiguo looked in the direction of his daughter's finger, but the figure had already disappeared into the sea of people. He frowned and said, "Manman, just ignore her. You can't be in the same class as her anyway. If you see her in school in the future, just pretend you don't know her."

Su Man looked in the direction where Su Yu had disappeared and a hint of mockery flashed in her eyes. Then, she obediently said, "Yes, that makes sense." With Su Yu's grades, how could she be assigned to Class B? It would be a miracle for her to be able to get into Class D. Otherwise, she would have been assigned to Class F. She and Su Yu were destined to be opposites, like heaven and earth, so they would not have any interactions. The thought of this put her at ease.

...

Su Yu knocked on the door of the principal's office.

"Come in!"

A loud male voice came from the other side. Su Yu pushed the door open and entered. The principal's office was very spacious. Other than a huge desk, there was only a large bookcase and some green plants. After entering the office, she closed the door behind her.

There were a few people in the principal's office. The first one to greet her was a man holding a portfolio. He was in his forties and had slightly balding hair. His skin was slightly dark, but his eyes were unusually bright. When he saw Su Yu, he was stunned for a moment. Then, he immediately flipped through the information in his hands and asked, "You're the transfer student, right?"

Su Yu's photo was on the open page of the document in his hand. However, the photo was not very well taken. The light was very dim and it was a little blurry, making the face look a little dark and vague.

The Dean compared the photo with the fair girl in front of him. Why did they not look like the same person?

"Are you Su Yu?" asked the Dean with uncertainty.
