Chapter 80 - Muhammad ibn al-Qasim met Queen

Under the guidance of Queen (Rani), Muhammad ibn al-Qasim, Zubair, Khalid, Naheed and Zara entered the spacious room in the corner of the palace. As soon as he saw Ali Khalid, he ran away.

The Queen (Rani) had told her about her defeat and the victory of the Muslims.

Khalid and Zubair were surrounded by men one after the other and the women hugged Naheed and shed tears of gratitude. Muhammad ibn al-Qasim placed the hand of compassion on the children.

He shook hands with the men one after the other and comforted the women.

And at the end addressed to the Queen (Rani) 'Good hearted lady!

I thank you!" Queen (Rani) looked at Muhammad ibn al-Qasim carefully.

His eyes were testifying that these words were not formal.

Muhammad ibn al-Qasim said to Khalid and Zubair, there is still a lot of work left for me. Take them with you to the place of residence. replied,

"Thank you, but will it hurt you?"

Queen (Rani) said,

"If I am not in your custody, tomorrow I will leave Arur and this whole palace will be empty for you!"

Muhammad ibn al-Qasim said.

How did you doubt that Muslims reciprocate hospitality like this?

If you want to go to Arur,

I can send some chiefs of Brahmanabad with you.

The Queen (Rani) looked at Muhammad ibn al-Qasim from head to toe and said,

"If I go to Arur, won't your forces pursue me there?"

Muhammad ibn al-Qasim said that Arur is the last stronghold of the kingdom of oppression and I intend to conquer it.

Can't give up.

I have heard about the condition of a prison there in which many other prisoners like Abulhasan are dying.

Queen (Rani) said,

"But Abul Hasan has escaped and the rest of the prisoners in Arur jail are our subjects."

It is our job to think about them.

If your law is better than our law then enforce it in your country and leave us alone.

We have been punished more than enough for mistreatment of Arabs.

But we have risen with the aim that the country belongs to God and the law should also belong to God. We want to erase the distinction between king and subject to bring all human beings on the same level. We want a government of justice instead of coercive tyranny.

Queen (Rani) said, but the quarrel between the king and the subjects is in every empire of India.

Could it not be that you ignore the law of humans in the same way as you ignore the law of humans in the rest of India? Muhammad ibn al-Qasim replied,

"You have a misconception about us. Arur is not our final destination. I want to take the message of this revolution to the last frontiers of India. Sindh first became the center of our attention because here the muffled voice of oppressed humanity reached our ears first."

Queen (Rani) then looked carefully at Muhammad ibn al-Qasim and said,

"You are dreaming of conquering all of India."

Yes !

I want the victory of Islam over all India and this is a dream.

Queen (Rani) said,Sikander came from Greece with the same intentions.

And you are much younger than him?

But Sikander came as an emperor compared to the kings.

His aim was not to free the people from the slavery of the kings but to make them his slaves. I deny the kingship of man on God's earth. He had faith in his strength, I have faith in God's mercy. He trusted the help of humans.

But I trust in Allah's help. His biggest defeat was that his own soldiers were corrupted by him and my biggest success is that those who were my enemies till yesterday are my companions today and this is not my victory but the victory of Islam. Queen (Rani), was disappointed and said,

"So this means that you will definitely attack Auror?"

"It is my duty ?

The Queen (Rani) said that it should be done.

I know that there is no trench between Barthmanabad and Arur that you cannot cut, but if you think me worthy of any kind treatment, then have mercy on my son.

He will support you till the end. Please give me a chance to explain to Arur. He is assured by Jai Singh that King ( Raja) is dead and not alive.

I want to tell her that there is no use in competition now but you have to promise that you will not abuse her after surrendering. He is my only son.

If you don't like her living in Sindh, I will take her somewhere far away.

Muhammad ibn al-Qasim said,

I promise that there will be no ill-treatment with him, rather we will consider him respectable after giving up the knowledge of falsehood in comparison with the truth. "When do you want to go?"

I will leave in the morning.

Although the capital of Sindh was Arur, the political and military importance of Brahmanabad was much greater than that. In terms of population, this city was also the largest city in Sindh.

The letters sent by Muhammad ibn al-Qasim to Hajjaj ibn Yusuf and Khalifa Waleed after the victory.

In them, he wrote that immunity has practically ended in Sindh.

As for Arur,I am sure that the forces there will surrender without a fight, and even if they resist, this battle will be very insignificant compared to the rest of Sindh.

The last and probably the strongest city in Sindh is Multan, and it considering the religious sanctity of, perhaps some kings of Punjab will support the Sindhi ruler of Multan, but I trust in God's help.

Before the victory of Brahmanabad, Muhammad ibn al-Qasim had received instructions from Hajjaj bin Yusuf not to take the enemy dead, but Muhammad ibn al-Qasim, in response to these letters, explained this to the inhabitants of Sindh, Turkistan and the inhabitants of Spain.

They are very different.

They consider Muslims as their saviors and do not expect them to rebel after good behavior. The biggest proof of this is that the soldiers who were fighting against us till yesterday are fighting our enemies today.
